Saint Patrick's Quest

This is a seasonal quest available in March every year.

Running the Quest

Saint Patrick needs your help to halt the spread of evil creatures on a remote island.

To begin the quest, say hail to Saint Patrick in Cove.

Note: You must be patched up to Expatch 11 to participate in this quest.

Note: On the event island, mobs are not able to enter the safe area around the entrance. There is a 5-second delay on teleporting into the safe area.

Note: You cannot enter Saint Patrick's area, or any of the other quest areas, with pets. Ethies and 0 slot mounts can still enter.

Note: The quest cooldown is by account: you can't use your alts to run the quest more frequently.

Rewards

The rewards display can be found through the gate inside the Minoc Town Hall building, directly West from Falcor.

Every time you turn in a golden token to Falcor, you will receive a reward item as well as 2 Golden Clovers. These clovers can be used as currency on the vendor stone.

The Minoc Town Hall also contains the vendor stone, where you can purchase items for Golden Clovers. Neci the Merchant is also located in this building.

NOTE: Quest currency should be spent on the vendor stone on/before the stated quest closing date! Quest currency is designed to decay several days after the quest closing date to ensure that any minor quest extensions are accounted for, but once the quest is closed the vendor stone will no longer be available and you will not be able to spend the currency.

Seasonal Totem: Four-Leaf Clover

To check your progress, say "runs" to the clock near Saint Patrick. The required number of runs for the totem is 40.

When you have reached 40 runs (or more), approach Alim the Assistant in the Minoc Town Hall building. He will give you an item to bring to Andrew the Collector. Andrew is located in a building to the far west of Yew.

Seasonal Footprints: Lucky

Once you have achieved 35 or more runs, approach Alim the Assistant in the Minoc Town Hall building. He will give you the footprints.

The footprints are also displayed in this building.

Troubleshooting

- Players with [young] status cannot participate in this event.

- If a quest NPC does not acknowledge you, wait 15 seconds and then try again. Quest NPCs can get locked up easily, particularly if there are multiple players trying to speak to it at once.

- If you are having trouble obtaining the Leprechaun's Stolen Gold, remember that you need to steal them. It requires only 1.0 stealing and the repeat delay on stealing is reduced in this area - 3 seconds instead of the usual 8.

- If your quest items are decaying, collect them into your book immediately upon looting. They are marked temporary for a reason.

Rule Violations & Event Bans

If you are disrespectful toward the staff or otherwise violate the rules excessively, you may be given an event ban. This means you cannot participate in any seasonal quests or staff-run events until the ban expires.

If you receive jail tasks higher than 10 for ANY infraction while a seasonal quest is running, you may be barred from that event.

If you are found to be in violation of the AFK rules of the shard while inside a seasonal event space, you will lose event privileges for at least 1 week, up to the full duration of the event.
