On a boring day you can level a weapon from 0 to 100 in about 1/2 a day.

I guess you mean weapon with spellhits, and playing nonstop. don't think its possible in other way.

1/2 a day? Wow. I'm going to try that. I bought my first leveled weapon cheap, and have been working on it for a while, but then again I really didn't know what I was doing. It's at 80 right now. I found a Runebook during the IDOC event that was labeled Weapon Leveling Spots. So I've been going to one of those, and it is going faster. I'm learning. I usually loot EVERYTHING, but for the purposes of weapon leveling it's only gold now. Saves a lot of time. And I've discovered a weapon with whirlwind attack, and lots of monsters = quick progress. I stand there until I am surrounded and use EOO, WW and BAM!

IDOC before last I lucked out and got several weapons with weapon leveling deed applied. I have a couple with no points spent, and some I add dexterity/strength/etc. as I go.

My next question is if I CAN level a wepon in 1/2 a day or even a day what should I charge, if I ever decide to do that?

I thikn this next Sunday I may try to level a weapon as fast as I can. Any advice?

12 hours non stop... maybe if u can go from spot to spot to spot and no one else has cleared the areas
even when i was able to do mistvale the fastest i ever leveled a weapon was in 4 days and i went pretty hard

On an interesting, or boring day, 12 hours is not enough time. If you got fel deceit (one of the best leveling spots due to enhanced mob exp there) entirely to yourself the respawn rate still won't allow it. If you have a weapon with ww and some aoe hits and you didn't loot and had half of the world marked and bounced around for 12 hours solid you still wouldn't get there.

I would consider a fast time is about 5 days from 0-100. That's with relatively normal play time. If you want to grind hard and do 10 hour days on the one thing, you could knock it off in 3.

The thing is, the good leveling spots are always in use, you never get them to yourself. So even if you can commit to 10 hour days, if there's a bunch of others on the grind your leveling rate will slow down.

This advice comes from someone who used to make all his wealth almost exclusively from weapon leveling.

I'd beg the differ. Happy to place a wager to entice you to demonstrate that you can level a wep to 100 in 12h of straight gameplay.

I think I could level a wep to 100 in 12h of gameplay time, but I would need to do it over 24x 30min sessions to let certain locations fully respawn, and have those places to myself and not be competing.

As stated. If you want to put your money where you mouth is, pick a 12 window when you have the time and name the price you're willing to bet. I'll pick the weapon, track it's ID and take your gold at the end of the 12 hours. No whinging at the end of the bet that "oh it was a bit busier than usual etc etc".

To get the thread back on track. A fast leveler will get your weapon back to you lvl 100 in about a week. A full on focused grind with 10h days, maybe 3 days. Again, all depends on how much manual leveling you wanna do (fel has a lot of locations that are worth it if you don't mind handling the mouse while you play). It also depends heavily on how many other people are using the hot spawns for leveling. If you get long sessions to the good areas by yourself, you will go much faster than sharing, with even one other player. Given there's a heap of players who just run leveling scripts pretty much all day (they definitely don't finish in 12h lol) getting any good spawn or runs to yourself ain't easy.

i got pretty dam lucky i pretty much had mistvale all to myself for those 4 days

I said in “about 1/2 a day”. I had 12-14 hours in mind. And yes it’s been done but does vary based on how many other players there are.

With a fully automated script it’s actually not that hard to do.

The fastest way to level is a combination of full automation and manual - I know, I use both. As I said, it's worth going out of your way to the fel areas and manually run them as the rate is higher. But they respawn fairly slow. As Geriatric said, going in Mistvale where (I hear, I have never been inside there) has double wep exp and a high density of high exp mobs, still took him 4 days, and that's a good effort. I don't want to derail this thread Muolke, but I will let you have 15hours (starting to be a fair bit over half a day now) of straight game time.. To players looking to start their leveling journey a good thing to look at is Cygnus's monster compendium. He has put together a huge list of mobs and the exp they drop. I'm currently using Steam, and a macro called Autofighter. Works sort of good, but it imterrupts alot of other actions so I have to turn it off to do something else. I really need to assign a hot key for it I guess. I've only been using the Autofighter a couple of days, and I also do manuel as well. Is ther a better automatic combat macro? With the Autofighter macro leveling a weapon is becoming faster for me, but I don't think 12 to 15 hours to level a weapon entirely faster. I guess I can try Fel. I've been primarily been going to Deceit, starting in the "middle" working my way down, and back up. The only time I died was when I ran out of bandies, and about a half dozen or more Liches, and Lich Lords smoked me.

i have a basic targetting and attack macro, i run that on a loop in steam
along with steams bandage self and auto loot

but i also run UO Loop on the side to cast consecrate weapon every 8 seconds or so

When I say automated, I mean fully automated - no hotkeys, no mouse input. Press play and the game levels it for you. My toon recalls to the spot, kills the mobs, loots the valuables, claims the corpses, recalls to the next spot. I have 40-odd spots I recall to in each round to minimise disruption from other levelers. No need to touch mouse except for when +C drops in to say hi. You need to run a script in Orion, easyUO, OpenEUO or another similar program to get this level of automation. I have seen some players build one in razor, but it seems extremely clunky there. Just remember, you have to be at your keyboard when running such a script as you can, and will, get AFK checked and the penalties are relatively harsh for such actions.
