Re: gear after mistvale
youll want gear that will bring your dex up to 220 so you can insta heal. some big ticket dex items are jackals collar or bat wings or dread pirate hat. once you cant use your mistvale gear, some gear may include goc pieces to help with mana regen. but i wouldnt recomend doing the goc quest alone. some spots are doable alone but others are very dangerous.
Re: gear after mistvale
Some of the GOC items are good to have as they have lots of stats that will help you. 220 Dex is pretty important if you ask me as you can then insta heal with bandages. You'll have to get creative but usually you'll end up with a +10 Dex ring & bracelet, bat wings, jackals collar, and a few other things. You should also get a +40 stat scroll or higher as that's essential to getting to 220 Dex. As a matter of fact, I have the cheapest +40 stat scroll in the shard listed on my vendor. There's also 2 GOC items listed WAY below what they're worth and i'm always open to fair offers. Check out PINK-MART in TC or PM MUOLKESHAKE if you have any questions.

220 dex. There's a guide on Wiki - http://www.uoex.net/wiki/220_Dex_Guidenocturne7saint wrote:But what gear should i go after, after i get all the mistvale stuff?

Prices fluctuate but it should cost you around 10-ish mil + 250 EDs for +5 individual stat scrolls (assuming you get a +25 stat scroll).
+25 is essential. +40 is you trying to sell your stuff lol.Muolke wrote:You should also get a +40 stat scroll or higher as that's essential to getting to 220 Dex.
Re: gear after mistvale
If you're going to spend money on a stat scroll you're not going to waste it on a +25. Getting a +40 or higher makes it so that you only have to buy 1 and never worry about it again. My vendor has a ton of scrolls from +5 to +45 so it doesn't matter to me since all my prices on scrolls are the cheapest on any vendor. But thanks for trying so eloquently to be a douche as always.Animol wrote:+25 is essential. +40 is you trying to sell your stuff lol.

Saying +40 or higher is essential is plain wrong and misleading, because it doesn't allow you to get more dex than +25, which is several mil less expensive than +40 (that also requires you to buy 3 more individual stat scroll deeds). This is a huge difference if the guy isn't swimming in money, because he can buy all the necessary gear with the savings.
Re: gear after mistvale
All the necessary gear? There's no +25 scrolls on vendors right now and a +30 is selling for roughly 1 million. Meanwhile a +40 is just over 4 million gold. The prices are low enough where a +40 is a much better deal.
Re: gear after mistvale
Gear necessary to get basic 220 dex (Jackal's, Pugs and so on).Muolke wrote:All the necessary gear?
Why are you talking about deals and vendors? None of this changes the fact that "+40 or higher" is not essential to getting 220 dex, which is my point. I don't want people to think +40 or better is necessary.Muolke wrote:There's no +25 scrolls on vendors right now and a +30 is selling for roughly 1 million. Re: gear after mistvale
I find it funny as you consider a stat scroll a necessity as it is not. I had 220 dex with 125 base str and 150 base dex before I even considered a stat scroll. True, my base int was only 25, but for example, the already mentioned GoC pieces help with this as does mana leech in your weapon. I remember having a nice mana pool of around 120 back then.
I agree on 220 dex gears as a good option from Mistvale, but it really depends on what are you looking for from the game? 220 dex allows you to tank, but only to a certain degree before you need to find ways to increase your hp too. If you're good with pets and have a decent pack, it might be worth focusing on casting before dex as pets allow you to farm all the GoC pieces yourself. Few of the creatures even require pets to defeat, so having veterinary with good casting to keep your pets healed and resurrected is a good option too (dex doesn't apply to veterinary healing speed, which is constant at 2s).
Another thing to consider after Mistvale gears would be your weapon. Having a high mana leech bow surely does help, and until you get into relayers, your spell damage increase isn't that high to boost those hit spells much, so a bow (yumi pref) with high mana leech and even one hit spell (lightning / fireball) should work in the beginning. At least it provides range over the Mistvale sword.
Naturally, if you're already past the pets and bow, you have the ability to get the GoC items, so plan around them and add in dex items when and where you can. For this phase, I'd also go for the dex cap relatively soon as that's something you'll have and use for the longest.

Re: gear after mistvale
Oh man, I totally forgot you can do that. 25 int sounds so bad (especially with a basic 220 dex setup and no GoC stuff) I completely removed it from my memory as an option lol.Shindaril wrote:I find it funny as you consider a stat scroll a necessity as it is not. Related not-so-fun fact: I remember someone saying you need to use a stat scroll before you can increase individual stats over 125 cap otherwise +5 scrolls wouldn't work or something like that. I didn't give it a second thought because I was still a noob here back then and risking 50+ EDs didn't sound like a good idea so I used a stat scroll first. Just another piece of misinformation that was apparently floating around.

Re: gear after mistvale
25 stat scroll may not be a "necessity" to get to 220 but they (or a 20 stat scroll) are very cheap (when compared to the +5 individual stats) and I would certainly have it on things to pick up if you see one. 20s are usually free-200k with 25s being in the 500k-1kk range if not cheaper. A lot of players don't value stat scrolls very much that are below 40 maybe even 45.

Re: gear after mistvale
so I'm confused about stat scrolls, will two +25 scrolls bring you up to the cap of 350? or do you have to buy a +25 then a +50 to do that?

Stat scrolls raises your max stats by that amount, and they don't stack. If you get a +25 for now it's a good starting point. Eventually, you will find, or be able to afford a higher level stat scroll.

Re: gear after mistvale
A Base STAT CAP scroll raises your max total base states from 300 to 350 (with a +50 scroll) which is the current max base stat on the scroll (grand auction a +75!). These STAT CAP scrolls do not add up if you use a +10 and a +15 and a +20 your stat cap will only be 320.
Individual Stat cap scrolls let you raise your base of 125 DEX/STR/INT by 5 points these scrolls do add up (with a Cap of 150 for each stat). Raise dex to 150 then you only have 150 points left for STR and INT unless you use a Base STAT CAP scroll as well.
I used to have 150 dex however, as my gear is good enough now (8 years of play) that I have lowered my base dex down to around 100 and have my STR at 150 (for DMG and HP) and raised my INT up to around 100 as well.
in the Chase for 220 DEX using a +25 Base state Scroll and 5 +5 individual DEX scrolls means you only need to get 70 dex from gear for insta heal instead of 95. OR you can get the gear for +95 DEX and just not get any +5 individual stat scrolls (expensive) and just keep your dex at 125 but raise your STR which will let you do more DMG and have more HP.
