A Price list for the shard

I have been in talks with several people and we thought that coming up with a reasonable price list for the shard would solve a lot of problems. This list is in hopes that we can get some fir marketing around here for everyone. Meaning, a price list so that nobody gets ripped off the buyers or the sellers. I of course cannot hope to price everything and will stick to major items of interest. Others may feel free to help by conferring with me on other prices. The price chart we have came up with is as follows:

These prices are prices that have been the shard norm for a long time and have been modified to be fiar to buyes and seller alike. Other prices will be added as a list for them is put in order.

Not sure if you are looking into taking price checks but here is a list of things I wish I new the value of:

Black smith bod (other bod types too) rewards like the different runic hammers, crafting armors, gargoyle pick axe, prospecting tool, deco ect...

So if anyone knows prices for these types of things it would be nice to be able to find them on the list too.

I haven't spawn this week (been doing the mage inquis quest, one key away from candy baby;-), but my 110's depending on the location of the vendor, vary from 5k to 10k, cept for taming at 45k. 115's at 50k all, cept for taming at 295. 120's at 300k, cept for lore at 800 and taming at 1 mil.

i think finger's prices for PS is more accurate. but i think having a list in general isnt a good solution. things change.

I dont think we are trying to set things in stone here. It would be more of a reference to give people a basic idea of an items value. People would still be able to price above or below theses prices if they choose to do so.

Many people would not even know or care that the list exists. But it could be very helpfull to those that do not have a clue what prices should be. And It would at least help keep people form pricing a 100k item for 10k or vice versa.

A stickied list of everything is very helpful. Prices arent meant to raise 15 times a day but maybe every 3 or 4 months could move up 1 k or so but not go from 10k 1 minute to 10 milliom the next and thats what it has been doing. Just because 1 vendor has something a little lower somebody grabs it and puts on their vendor at sky high prices. This has been happening every hour of every day. The minute somebody adds something to their vendor at a reasonable price somebody else hollars "oh no thats to low and should be 100 times higher" instead of just letting things go as they should go. Maybe that vendor owner isnt trying to make all the gold on the shard and the next vendor owner is. Who really knows unless they have watched things for along while. And believe me I have watched every day and heard the comments in chat and elsewhere. I really think this list and any additions is the best way and really should be stickied as a guideline. Thru the years of playing every place has always had a stickied guideline on the forums and the players stuck close to it either a little below or a little above the prices.

I disagree with Jill, Only, in that its a basic price list, I do not believe Dark said anything about making prices stagnant, or setting thses prices in stone.. tbh, I am very glad to see it, as i dont like to ask a question every 5 minutes on open chat.. if a list like this is up, i can check it and get a general idea. The only reason I can see anyone fearing such a thing is if they are a price gouger.. I have been yelled at a couple times already for having prices too low... hey, i was making a mild profit.. it just rubs me wrong to charge large sums of cash for something that didnt cost me much in time or effort... but this way, I can at least see a general price to base my own prices on, and avoid getting yelled at any more..........

As the shard population grows, and declines, prices will change as the supply and demand changes.., Stagnant prices would not be good for anyone, but having a baseline to start from would indeed be nice. Thanks Dark

ornament of the magi- should be higher in my opnion, One of the only items in game that has 2FC, other then the archmagi...

jackal's collar- is COMPLETELY wrong.... the ONLY reason an i mean only reason it went up THAT high (for those who remember Lyandrin) is becuz she wanted it Reeally bad an was willing to pay 2Million Gold for it (never knew what he wanted it so bad) and all the sudden everyone caught on that jackals collar was SOOO amazing, no its not, 10 dex? LIKE O M G thats gonna raise me up to... 135!!!
