Tailoring SBODs with no corresponding LBOD

Does anyone have a list or can point me to where a list might be? I scoured Stratics, etc to no avail.

If there are no changes compared to OSI(like) servers then there are no "orphaned" tailoring SBODs similar to blacksmithy weapons. I haven't dived too deep into tailoring BODs here yet but I don't see any differences.

For Blacksmithing its basically any bod that isn't a ringmail, chainmail or platemail set correct?

there are no footwear large bods for the small color leather bods but they will fit into regular leather larges and large cloth bods that ask for footwear. its possible the large bods were added in the tailoring revamp that was done a few months ago but they didn't exist before then.

Wow, I had no idea about that. It is true that I haven't ever gotten a large footwear bod for any leather colour. It would be good if a GM could confirm this. I have a few sets of complete s bods waiting for the L bod in the footwear department!

I think that the footwear part of bods is slightly odd anyway. I have 2 gm tailors and 1 120 tailor and I have 0 exceptional non coloured leather footwear bods. I asked +Requiem about this I think and he said you need a lower skill to get exceptional footwear bods, which is a bit counter intuitive, as you still get exceptional cloth bods at 120, but not regular leather footwear.

My records suggest that you can expect maybe one leather footwear bod out of every 100 bods. One full bod book ended up with just 3. The only one I've had go past 5 is the bod book I filled with claimer bods (that florin purchase) at 7, with 4 small leather bods in a row being footwear. This is at 120 skill.

I thought I tried using colored footwear in leather slots before and it didn't work. This would have been way back before the rework. I might be able to clear out some of my lg cloth backlog. For a long time, I wouldn't take the lg cloth bods because of my lack of footwear smalls.

I've got a list of all the bods that I've collected here, that also includes a sheet with the totals.

So out of over 700 BODs collected, I have 0 exceptional leather footwear bods. The tracking page at the end doesn't include cloth ones as there is a lot of turn over on those that I haven't recorded. The majority of these have been collected by 120 tailor, but a few have been collected by GM. I've recently also started collecting on a tailor with 80 skill and 60 skill to see if I can get any footwear bods.

I think I'm going to stop collecting for the L cloth bods as they are pretty much impossible to complete with such a low number of ex plain leather s bods obtainable.

you might be right about the leather larges I was actually just assuming the leather larges would accept the color smalls since the cloth larges do accept them. the footwear large bods give terrible rewards so ive never filled one. ive been filling cloth larges with color leather smalls since I started here in 2014 and im pretty sure it worked that way in old uo.

Thought I would add some info that I have just gathered re tailor BoD's.

Just about to do some Tailor BoD filling for pretty much the first time since I've been on this shard. Have been a bit concerned with some of the talk on chat about the footwear small BoD drop rates compared to rate of Large BoD's that need them.

The following is what I sorted out so far:-

Total Tailor BoD's 4746.

Of that 1158 are Large BoD's & 3588 are small BoD's. (So roughly 1 in 4 is a large)

I split the Large BoD's into 3 categories - All Cloth - 84
- Cloth with Footwear- 749 (Includes all footwear BoD's)
- All Leather -325


With the small BoD's I've only separated the footwear so far - 308 from total of 3588 smalls.
Of that 308 only 34 are exceptional normal leather.

Obviously the other 274 footwear BoD's are either non-exceptional or higher leather types.

Not sure how the reward is for handing in a Large BoD with footwear, but can't imagine it would be worth the cost of the expensive leathers. If I add in the spined, horned & barbed leather footwear it would be another 82 footwear.
Still not even close to the ballpark with the Large BoD's needing them.

So it sort of seems to me that 50% or more of the Large BoD's are basically trash (Which you can't Token Trash )
Or have I just been terribly unlucky with BoD drops?

Is it worth trying to do any large BoD's with footwear? or should the aim be to just turn in lots of the small BoD's and hope for better? Would be interested to hear what other peeps do.

Might be more tolerable if you were able turn higher leather type BoD's into normal leather BoD's somehow.

The outfit bods are still worth it. They give nice rewards. Lots of bear rugs and tapestries to keep the winter cold out of your house. Clothing bless deeds from the town crier bod. I suggest keeping a few of each outfit/size combo. Go ahead and stuff the small cloth bods in them, and they can wait for the footwear. Depending on what rewards interest you, it can be worth it to use some colored leather footwear. It isn't until blaze footwear that the small footwear reward reaches the level of outfit rewards.

You can fill the cloth parts of 2 or 3 of every outfit/size and still have a huge pile of small cloth bods to return. And get 50% new cloth bods in replacement.
