Just out of curiosity, why are they blessed..? Wouldn't it be easier to 'merely' insure them.:? :)

Well I guess it's better to have stuff blessed if you die a lot due to the repeated cost of insurance and worst case scenario, if you are dying loads and you don't notice that you don't have the money in the bank, that could result in losing the items, I would not want to lose a GoC piece!! Or anything like that for that matter!!

but then dying a lot is not the plan, sure we all die but the purpose is to continually improve your gear on order to keep from dying. I guess its a toss up spend big money on blessed items and die a lot or take a lil care and try not to die a lot lol

And the added bonus if you ever forget to have gold in your bank, you don't risk leaving valuable items on your corpse in case you were to disconnect!

lol, why blessed? cause blessed is the way to go ;)
i have 90% of my gear blessed. some spent millions on garden deco, some just have money on bank, some like to have gear safe. it already happened to players, they clicked "cancel renewing item insurance" by mistake, and they didn't even know :)
slow finding the ankh/healer after your death, and you're there. u never know. blessing is the safest way, that's why :)

Yeah ok, I guess it makes sense when you reach a certain item cost, where the % cost of having it blessed is quite low...For me blessing my gear would cost about 200-500% of the item price though :P
