Question about looting

Post by Shaiy Sunsinger »

Let me start by saying this I love this shard, my 7 days here have been very enjoyable everyone is extremely friendly, really thinking this will be my new home :) only one thing has been bothering me.

Is there anyway to make my loot I get from [claim go into another bag besides my main backpack? The clutter is driving me insane lol.

You can use the different Razor agent to do that but you have to actually click organize in Razor to get it started. I'm fairly certain Steam has a similar function, not sure if it is automatic or not. There are probably EUO scripts as well to do it.

I will look for the link, otherwise I can just post the UO Steam program called Chester. It pops up a gump, you tell it what you want to loot, and what bag you would like to put it in.
Then each time you kill a mob (or open a treasure chest), you just hit the loot button and target the mob, and it will loot it for you.

I deal with this by setting up an organizer agent using steam and adding all the common claim itemids in to the list, then finishing it off by setting the source to be my backpack and then target my HBOH. Then I just tell all of my commonly used macros (attack next mainly) to run this organizer agent and that's it. Not too sure about razor since it's been a while since I've used it but steam remembers the backpack IDs till you change them.

An example being:

Code: Select all

@getenemy 'murderer' 'enemy' 'criminal' 'gray' 'closest'
@attack 'enemy'
@setability 'secondary' 'on'
pause 400
@organizer 'Organizer-1'

tbh, learning the basics of euo and scripting yourself a viable auto looter (or modifying an available one) to suit your needs would probably be better & easier.
In game name : Poulton (or Voot for you vets)
