+V & +N's SoCal Vacation

This summer we had the opportunity to sneak off to southern California to visit my favorite uncle and cousin. We went to Disneyland for the 60th anniversary celebration, visited the Aquarium of the Pacific, the Getty Villa (a museum filled with ancient roman and greek artifacts), Huntington beach, Malibu, Hollywood, and various other Very Cool Places. I thought it'd be fun to share some photos from our adventures with y'all. I always enjoy reading threads by players giving us a glimpse into their lives, their hobbies and such so I figured we ought to return the favor.

We actually got to touch these jellyfish- they feel SO weird. Kind of like those stiff gel-arch-supports for shoes, coated in jello.

Huntington Beach:


I saw a statue of Nyx at the Getty Villa, I actually let out a disgustingly girlish shriek of delight and utterly confused my uncle who has no idea about uoex or video games...



So that's the highlights from our little mini-vacation. Our next one is the 'real' vacation - Jamaica! I'll post some pics of that too once we get back

Great idea. Looks like a blast. We will be visiting Phoenix and Coronado Island in a few weeks and I will try to put together something similar of my favorite haunts and pictograms. Which Disney Princess were you?

Which Disney Princess were you?

As an 80's child (ie: growing up far before Merida came around), my favorite princess was Ariel; she was the only one who I could directly relate to (as a fellow stubborn redhead). Later, I also really liked Belle, Jasmine and then also Mulan. Can you see a trend?
