It has come to our attention that a few of our players have been brokering their accounts for sale on a 3rd party site.
Please be reminded that you may not sell your account or in any way give/pass it to another player. Your account belongs to you, if you quit then the account goes with you. You can't allow anyone else to play it, ever.
Anybody found attempting to sell their account or having sold/given their account to someone else will be permanently banned along with any associated accounts found to have been abused similarly.
It goes without saying that anyone attempting to sell you their uoex account is actively scamming you and attempting to steal from you. You'd essentially pay them, they'd maybe give you the account - which would then get banned and you'd have no recourse for getting your money back. Please, folks, don't risk it. If you are approached or you see uoex accounts for sale on other sites, please inform us so that we can prevent these people from stealing hard-earned RL money from our players. Any evidence you can provide - links, screenshots, email addresses, forwarded e-mails (to me at: nyx@uoex.net), etc will greatly help in these cases.
