My attended razor mining macros

Post by Tobie »

met some people while mining, wanted to know if i made my macros, so here they are.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/k5sc87tm9yk5yhm/Macros.rar
(lemme know if the link doesnt work, first time using dropbox)

how to setup:
Note: these macros wont work without hotkeys, which you will need to set manually, instructions below.
Note 2: these macros require that you have a mobile forge and metal crafting keys.

First extract these macros to your %appdata%/razor folder (open explorer and type %appdata% into the address bar, the press r kn your keyboard until the razor folder shows up.)

There are 5 macros for mining, one for one tile away in each direction on the compass, and one for your feet.
I have each of these set to a hotkey on my numpad.

M-west: num 7
M-north: num 9
M-east: num 3
M-south: num 1
M-feet: num 5
M-smelt: num +
I also have num 0 set to stop macros (this is also in the hotkeys tab)

You can set your own hotkeys to suit your preferences, but each of these macros will need a hotkey set to be usefull.
Once you have the macros extracted and you have set your own hotkeys, in the hotkeys tab in razor, go into each of the m-direction macros, and find a line that says: "Exec: Play:". If it already says "Exec: Play:m-smelting" the macros should work fine as is. If it does not, or the line is not there do the following:

-Right click the line that says: "Use Skill Spirit Speak" and click the option: "begin recording here".
-Then go into UO and press your hotkey for the smelting macro.
-Go back into razor, and switch to a different tab then back to the macros tab (switch macros while recording locks the macros tab, so you have to change tabs).
-If you have more than two lines below "Use Skill Spirit Speak" delete the line after "Exec: Play: m-smelting"

You will also need to re-target your metal crafting keys in the smelting macro.

-open the smelting macro.
-find the line "Double Click (0x43c457c9)" It should be the fifth line down from the top.
-Right click that line, and select re-target.
-find your metal crafting keys and click on them.
-find the line two lines below the "Double Click" line. It should be called "absolute target".
-Right click "absolute target" and select re-target.
-click your mobile forge (or your firebeetle).

If you are not using a shovel to mine, you will need to go into each m-direction macro and select the first line, and do the same thing you did for the crafting keys, just select any pickaxe instead.

If I'm not completely wrong on how any of this works you should be done! Just remember these macros will run forever if you don't stop them, so you need to be at your keyboard for them to work for any more than one vein.

How to use:
Simply walk next to a mountain and press the relevant hotkey to start mining. Once your bags are full (400 stones) your toon will spirit speak to let you know (I watch tv on my second monitor so the noise lets me know to pay attention) and automatically switch to the smelting macro. You will need to stop your macros once the smelting macro is done putting all the metal into the crafting keys, then you can start mining again.

These are the first macros I made, I've only been using razor for about a week, so I'm sure there are a lot of areas where these can be improved, but I thought I would hare anyway.
