I saw this listed under the Staff Services awhile back, and spoke to +Nyx briefly about it. I don't remember all the details of the conversation, but I believe that this option is currently on hold for one reason or another.

And I'm certain that it is far from the top item on +Colbi Shard Fix list, but just wanted to stop here and make sure that he, and whoever else is needed to make this happen, know that this is desired by at least one guild on the shard. (hehe)

As some of you know my Girlfriend (Piper Everwood) and I have an active Role-Playing Guild called: Mysfitz By Nature. Both her and I are writers and love to Role-Play even if it's just in text form.

A Private Forum for us to do that in would be very cool. We would be happy to share some of the role-play stories with the entire shard, but would prefer a private section so as to have some control over who joins the topic while it's still being written. I don't forsee anyway to control that in the public forum section.

So once again, just putting a bug in the ear of whoever is in control of such an issue, to please keep this concept in the back of your mind, and let me know when the feature is once again possible.

Since I knew +Colbi is around today working on the shard, I'm bumping this in the hopes that he sees it.

There are quite a few things being tinkered with and addressed at this time, including the fine tuning of a patch and two facets. There is currently no ETA on this feature.

I'm pretty sure he was also not looking for the thread to start being a snipefest because you couldn't let someone else's input go without snarking. For the record, Dramoor inquired about this not too long ago and I informed him that it was not likely to be made available again in the near future. We all have other projects taking precedence over trying to figure out a way around the issue that caused the guild forums to be removed in the first place. Next time, think before you type.

Edit: After giving it some thought, I come to the conclusion that I should have avoid the word worthless in my previous post as it is pretty much a pleonasm to say that speculation is worthless
