Full Bookcases ...
Full Bookcases ...
Yes, I'm looking to buy full bookcases. Do they exist? Probably not but then is it possible to have that as a request to a GM as an addon for auction or elven notes perhaps? Choice of facing different directions would be a +! =)

But whatcha gonna do?
I choose a rocky path but that's how I like it,
Life's a bowl of punch,
Go ahead and spike it!

Re: Full Bookcases ...
As far as I am aware, the regular filled bookcases are not obtainable here (yet). On OSI they were something like 10th or 11th year anniversary/commemoration reward token items, or something absurd considering it's a bog standard wooden bookshelf with a few books on it.
It would be awesome if a filled bookcase was added simply by crafting it with the components 1x Wooden Bookshelf and ??x Books. It's ridiculous how difficult it is to get on OSI when it's honestly not that groundbreaking a deco item.
For the time being you should look around for the "Ruined Bookcase [Stolen from a grave]" item.
The edges of it are slightly mildewy, but the shelves are filled with books and various magical paraphernalia.
Unfortunately, while it looks good, it's not turnable, the one facing you get is static (though both facings are possible rewards from the grave digging).
You can also try the Elven Bookcase, which is filled, but like all elven furniture has certain placement issues. Namely it being 1x2 tiles and one of the two tiles being walkable, and it protruding into the ceiling of the next floor a little bit. For those reasons I stay away from using them if I can help it.

Re: Full Bookcases ...
Yea, I've got a few ruined bookcases but you already stated the same issues I have with them. But yea, boards + X books = full bookcase would be an awesome new craftable. Never did like just empty bookcases for a library... but yea, mainly just wanted to throw the idea out to see if +Coli or anyone else would toss that in as a deco item at auction, maybe a few of them so various buyers could get one/some.

Re: Full Bookcases ...
