I'm aware that the forum is closed, just throwing this out here to see if I'm the only one who is having this issue (or if I'm just too fussy or lazy, haha).
Regarding the custom functions of [claim, [claimall, and adding items to the various Keys, the Tool/Runic Houses and similar items, after claiming a corpse/adding an item the cursor persists in a targeting mode.
Now, I can see where this is very nice when claiming a lot of bodies or adding many items at once to a Key/House. However, if you are only claiming a very small number of corpses or adding only a few items, it quickly becomes a hindrance with the number of times you have to either press Escape or click on an invalid target to remove the targeting reticle.
What would be supremely handy is the addition of two new commands, something like [claimone and [claimallone, and an additional button to all the Keys and the Tool/Runic Houses which adds a single item and returns a normal cursor when it is added (and perhaps automatically closes the gump, too?).
It would save a significant amount of mouse/keyboard work in the long run, since I do not think that most of the times anyone claims a body or accesses a key they are dealing with enough corpses/items to make sticky target cursors an actual time-saver.
Again, I'm aware that the forum is closed, but I'd just like to see if I am alone in having this particular issue or if it really is a minor hassle for other people.
Edit:
Oh and one thing that could really do with the option to BE sticky - the "chop" / "smelt" recycling option in the various crafting menus!
The UO user interface seems to go out of its way to be something that you are far better off macroing, rather than being nice and friendly and conducive to regular play.
