This is a seasonal quest that runs every February.

Running the Quest

Cupid is in need of help. Venus, yet again angered at him, is tormenting him by corrupting the Cherubim out of spite. He needs brave adventurers to assist him in purifying as many Cherubim as possible and discouraging Venus' meddling.

To begin the quest, approach Cupid and say "hello". He is located in the gardens of Nujel'm which are behind the Palace and to the South.

Note: You must be patched up to the most recent Expatch to participate in this quest.

Note: You cannot enter cupid's area, or any of the other quest areas, with pets.

Note: The quest cooldown is by account: you can't use your alts to run the quest more frequently.

Rewards

The rewards display can be found in the small building directly West of the healer in Yew. This building contains the vendor stone that sells Valentine's day themed wrapping paper as well as some deco items. There is also a pink gate that will lead you to the quest reward display room.

Seasonal Totem: Dove

To check your totem progress, say "Quest count" to the crystal ball located near Cupid. This will tell you the number of times you have completed the quest, as well as the current requirement for the totem.

Once you have completed the quest enough times, approach Stella the Pastry Chef in Yew. She will give you an item to take to Andrew the Collector. He is located in a building to the far West of Yew.

Troubleshooting

- If Cupid does not acknowledge you, wait 15 seconds and then try again. The NPC will get locked up easily, particularly if there are multiple players trying to speak to him at once.

- If you are having trouble obtaining the pure saplings, remember that you need to steal them. It requires only 1.0 stealing and the repeat delay on stealing is reduced in this area - 3 seconds instead of the usual 8.

- If your quest items are decaying, collect them into your book immediately upon looting. They are marked temporary for a reason.

Rule Violations & Event Bans

If you are disrespectful toward the staff or otherwise violate the rules excessively, you may be given an event ban. This means you cannot participate in any seasonal quests or staff-run events until the ban expires.

If you receive jail tasks higher than 10 for ANY infraction while a seasonal quest is running, you may be barred from that event.

If you are found to be in violation of the AFK rules of the shard while inside a seasonal event space, you will lose event privileges for at least 1 week, up to the full duration of the event.
