One rumour to clear up

Post by +Colibri »

I so happen to have heard of a rumour, something about that the shard might be going down (completely closing).
Well, the official response to that is: no, the shard will be here for a long time.
It all depends on how many players there are... but even if there were no players, id still keep it up for at least a few months. It doesnt cost me anything.

Unfortunately there arent many updates lately, it's because i'm working hard at the university to pass this year as good as possible, and when i'm not at the uni or studying, i'm working on commercial projects. So i wake up at 6:20 and go to bed at midnight or 1am.

Whats in the near future of the shard:
- Morph (the one who isnt very social :D) is working on those hundreeds of ML quests (which are basically simple (kill this, find that), but still do take quite some time). He has no approx time when this will be available, unfortunately.
- My plans are to bring in a yard wand, wax crafting, and balance&spawn zorstricks.
- I'm pending for a new broadband connection, which i hope will solve the problems of lately frequent downtimes (it used to be like, 1 disconnect per 3 months, but since august this has been more like every 5 days). But nobody knows how well that new connection will be, so this is an open subject. The shard is not the only thing i support / host on this server, so i'm very interested in having it on a stable connection again.

Anyhow, I invite everybody to play on the shard. It's got a ton of custom scripts, it's online, it's free. I hope you enjoy it :)

I'd be sad if this place closed down. After looking at a few other shards, I can see why my guildmates chose this one to call home in the first place.

That's a relief...

Although Llexa and I haven't been around much lately, we would most definitiely miss the shard...

Hopefully I'll have some time to be around this Sunday... :)
