Punishment for old things.
i have not been in trouble with a player nor staff since i have been back here. and for the things in the past i had apploigised for and it is done and over with (((( Not a Reason To Not Let A Player Attend A Auction )))) whats in the past is *IN THE PAST* the reason +Colibri let me back to play here is to enjoy myself and honer the shard still. how can i do that with staff punishing me for something that happion *PRE BAN* of previous troubles. i do not see you treating any other ** Player ** like this way. please think about what you are doing this is not a way to treat your *Vetran Players* --- PS --- do not lock the post right away lets see how other players feel about this subject.

Re: Punishment for old things.
Events that I spend my free time working hard on are entirely under my purview. If a player is someone who has egregiously offended me or been enough of a problem for me, then I am not going to have them benefiting from all that hard work. Players who can manage to follow the rules and not call me vile names repeatedly and with vigor deserve to attend my events and are thus welcomed. Anyone who falls outside that category, however, is not.
This auction was created and carried out entirely by myself and V, and thus you were not welcome at it. Posting all these threads is just proving my point in regards to your attitude and disregard for the rules of this shard.

And these forum posts are disrespectful and are taking from the time they generously donate to this server. Time they put forward for FREE and for OUR enjoyment. So let's put an end to this discussion and get over it.
Re: Punishment for old things.
I don't know the details, nor do I want to, but if you get caught doing something you aren't supposed to be doing, there is no reason to be hostile towards staff, or other players for something that IS your fault.
From the messages I have read, you were caught doing something against the rules, and proceeded to take out your hostility towards the staff. Why? During the auction, Veritas asked you to leave stuff out of public, and you refused. Why not send in a page, or email Colibri, instead of antagonizing the situation further?
Furthermore, I feel strongly that Colibri needs to empower his staff further to allow them more flexibility in doing things without his express consent, and standing behind them in their punishment decisions as long as those decisions are made fairly, and according to the rules. The only time he should over-rule them, is in the case of unfairness, or in the event they are cheating. As i have mentioned in other posts, i also feel the punishments need to be harsher overall. To me, it seems some (many?) players don't respect the rules, (or staff), because the punishments aren't severe or meaningful enough. I feel, if Colibri stood behind his staff more, there would be less headaches for all involved, and would help eliminate "I'll just email Colibri", responses.
If you take things from a game level to a personal level (as in calling the individual staffers derogatory names etc), you are bringing it upon yourself to be excluded from events run by those staffers. If i met you at a bar, and you were rude to myself or my friends, i certainly wouldn't invite you to the after party i was hosting.
So, i guess its time to grow up, and take responsibility for your actions. Treat people how you would like to be treated. That is all.

Re: Punishment for old things.
Its not always about TODAY Krazy. I like you, we've talked. Seriously though just because its "in the past" for you, doesn't mean it is for everybody involved. This is what I mean by taking responsibility for your actions. If you do something wrong, today, or 5 years ago, you have to consider it may be with you for the rest of your life.
I have done things in the past that prevent me from doing things that I would like to do today. I made my decision then, and just because it happened 10 years ago, doesn't mean its forgotten. If you can't accept responsibility for your own actions, who should? Mom? Dad? Grandma? Grandpa? Colibri? Nyx? Me?
If they asked for an apology, maybe you should give them an apology, and move on. Learn from your mistakes and grow as a person, instead of whining and crying because you didn't get away with whatever you did 6-10 months ago.

Re: Punishment for old things.
i have Asmod many of times to try and recon with them and say sorry 50 times.. but yet its never good enuff if you can understand. they are *RESPECTABLE STAFF MEMBERS* they should treat everyone with kindness and try to (Get Along) with all types of player ethnic's. i am tottaly not wrong for wanting to goto the auction and spend my gold just like the rest of us it was a *PUBLIC AUCTION* not a Nyx and V choose's who they want to come *AUCTION* am i right or wrong you tell me. Colibri will be taking care of this i have just spoken with him via: Skype. i have understanded what ive done in the past and i was punished for them (Allready) and i do take responsibality for my actions hint the (6 mth ban) but keep beliveing what you like and seems you only would like to troll then understand the real fact of the matter - it was a public auction - and i was permited to go cause of staff unfairnss. enuff said have a swell night Excelsior! goodnight.

You may take it up with Colibri all you like, you've probably got him on speed dial by now. But, I'm not sure he's going to be as sympathetic as you'd like since he's the one who programmed in a method for us to ensure that players who we are denying entry to an event can't get in. We didn't set them up on the auction area since sometimes the auction area is used by other staffers who would have different preferences regarding attendees. Asmodean said it very well. If you're rude to someone in real life, they're not going to invite you over for dinner. The impressions you make on others can last indefinitely if they are strong enough. The ones you have made on me this year (and continue to make today) were (and are) extremely strong ones.
Re: Punishment for old things.
Every time a player takes their beef with staff to the forums, they end up making themselves look like an idiot. Sorry KG, if you were going to take it up with +C then you should have done that only.
Re: Punishment for old things.
[+veritas] Colibri let you out for serving your time with respect to violating the codex. You could've gone to the auction if you just apologized to both of us. But, you didn't. since when did players need to aploigise to attend *Public Auctions* ? - This is extreamly not fair to disallow me to attend the auction over a mishap and something i had done 6-10 months ago. cant you just forgive and forget like +Colibri (The Owner) has/had - i have been back over 4 months of my (6 month) ban and i have not cause any trouble or said anything negitave about you nor +Nyx. if you would like formal appoligy here it is (I AM SORRY TO NYX AND V FOR ANYTHING I HAD EVER SAID OR DONE. ( really means it to ) please let me play as a normal player is entened to. [+Nyx] This auction was created and carried out entirely by myself and V, and thus you were not welcome at it. really..

Re: Punishment for old things.
After reading your posts I would be happy never to see you again, and I don't even know you as a person. Your attitude seems childish. You should grow up and move on. Really annoys me when appertain teenagers cannot take responsibility for their actions and want everyone else to kiss their butts. You should be happy that +V or +N haven't banned you from the forms (if they can) and perma-jailed you until +C can deal with you. I would hope he would side with his staff. I would. Free shards (even pay ones) don't need people like you making up garbage and trying to get people to agree with them when they are in the wrong.
Re: Punishment for old things.
Just a thought ...
After you discovered you were moved to Britain Bank, you could have apologized right then to +V, +N, or whoever you needed to. If it was as important to you to attend the auction as you seem to want people to believe, a sincere apology would be a small price to pay. Heck, you could have faked sincerity and kept it to yourself, and no one would have been the wiser.
Now, though, you put it on the intarwebz. It will live far longer than the 6ish month ban you had, and the next ban I have a feeling you are going to receive.
Protip 1: Putting an apology in parentheses doesn't look good.
Protip 2: PUTTING AN APOLOGY IN ALL CAPS DOESN'T MAKE IT GOODER
