Newbie Dungeon
This is where you will first start hunting and questing. Only players 21 days of account age and under can get into this dungeon so take advantage of it while you can. Note that the (Young) status does not matter - you can get in even if you lose it, as long as you're under 21 days. Same applies to newbie chests and newbie champ.
To visit the newbie dungeon use the world teleporter, select Custom and Training Room. Once in the training room, there should be an orange moongate to your west. When you first enter the newbie dungeon you can go 3 ways. To the North is a small room with vendors for your basic needs. To the East you will see a pet resurrection stone and further down that way are tougher monsters and stairs to the second level. To your South is where you can get rich! You will be safe on the entire first level because the monsters will not attack, however they will attack your pets! The second level is entirely different, the monsters can and will attack you and your pets.
There is a quest giver to the South of the entrance that wants you to kill rats in his house. If you complete this quest you'll get a gold reward, some reagents and some organics. Some rats will also drop organics as loot, collect all of these while you can. Use the reagents to fill up your SpellCaster's keys. More info here. Also note that that the questgiver will not give you the quest (responding with "I'm busy, come back later") if you have any other quest active. Single click your character to check if you have any quest that you might have picked up and forgotten.
Organics are used to make bio-pets and are highly sought after since they are not as easy to get once you can no longer enter the Newbie Dungeon. You can either sell them to older players and make very good money or you can save them for a later time when you yourself may want to make a bio-pet.
- Also note, that the "Rat Quest" is in fact repeatable. The quest resets every half hour. Additionally, the timer is separate for each of your characters - if you have 5 chars and do the quest on one after the other you can basically loop the whole process (by the time you're done with char #5, char #1 will be able to do the quest again.)
