Just started UOEX and upon login it looks to me like it didn't completely work. Most of the stuff is missing and cannot even pull up inventory. Trade doesn't work either so what can I do to fix this?

Obviously something happened to your client, so you need to reinstall it. You need to delete your old one, download client from uoex.net, unpack it, reconfigure address/port/client in razor/uosteam if you use them, and everything should work.
If you want to save hotkeys and macroses from UO, I'd try saving directory UOClient/Desktop folder and copying it to the new installation of UO.
