No end reward on Halloween dungeon quest

I just finished the Halloween dungeon quest for the 4th time and received no end reward. I got a food item from the researcher
but when I visited his assistant he took the notes but I didn't receive an item from him. Is this supposed to happen? I'm good if the reward is randomly given, but this is the 1st time I didn't get anything at the end of the quest.

Had the same thing happen to me too the first time. It seems to be a random occurrence and simply bad luck.

they took some rather less than desirable rewards (checks and token checks) out and I'm guessing it rolled you up one of those randomly, but since they're not there it means no reward. Just an idea though. =/

No, the gold and token rewards were replaced on the actual lines of code, meaning those slots are still filled.

I went and tested receiving every single reward, by hand, and all of them worked. If something odd happens in the future, y'all should be sending a page in-game, not making a forum post. A page is more likely to be seen before the forum, and there's just not really anything I can do about an issue like this after the 8h quest delay has expired.
