I've never understood this. Houses don't decay in two weeks like on other shards. And unlike other shards, your account does decay, and on similar time scales to your houses. So what's the point of selling everything before you leave?

If you eventually plan on returning, it makes perfect sense. Liquidate everything, log in once a month to keep the account active, and when you return, you have a fat pile of gold to start over.

If you're logging in to keep your account fresh, why bother selling relayers and such? You'd keep those as long as you had your account. The house(s), kind of sort of make sense, since they decays 3x faster than the account, (when the new housing rules start? soonish?) but... still.
