lag since crash

Hi, since the crash the other day I have been having a lot of lag, so much it is hard to play at times. I shut my computer down at night, so the game gets restarted. I use UO steam, but get lag with or without it.

Before the crash it was fine, is there something I can try to get it better?

I have not noticed any lag here, but my "lag filter" for UO is almost nonexistent, playing on dialup for 4 years does that. It could of been coincidence of something happening with your home network, or internet company. Check your internet speed (google "internet speed test.") this can be a start to diagnosing, or if you havn't done it in awhile try restarting your router, and modem. Not saying these are fix-all's but it tends to fix my internet slowness 9 times out of 10, and its something within your control.
