And at the opposite end of the spectrum, from the adrenalin junkie, we have the fear junkie.

Theres a bit of a difference between adrenaline junkie and mental illness. Least I'll be walking without a cane! Here's what that craziness got him:

what makes this funny is that there are no images unless I deem it so. Therefore, you both lose.
Also, please don't turn this into a my pic is bigger than yours thread. Sure way to get the thread locked and/or images deleted.
The server doesn't need strain loading un-godly huge images in a forum post.

If you've seen Spider-man 3, then you know what a whiny little ***** Peter Parker is. Just about everything Spider-man does is because he's a timid, unsociable, depressed boy who's parents and uncle were killed and he feels it is his responsibility to protect his elderly aunt. Did I mention he has a supermodel wife? Yeah, he does, which totally justifies exactly why he should be the happiest guy on Earth. Having superpowers doubles that awesomenss. However, according to today's doctors, depression is a serious disease, a disease that Spider-man's writers use as the emotional backdrop of every single one of his stories. "Ahh, I'm depressed because my best friend's dad wants to kill me. Wahhh!", "Ahh, I'm depressed because I'm not good enough for my supermodel wife. Wahhh!", "Ahh, I'm depressed because my boss doesn't pay me enough to take photographs of myself! Wahhh!" If you really think about it, Peter Parker has the good life, and it's only his depression that ***** it up more and more. Nobody wants a crying superhero!

I know, the story arc afterwards fucks things up, but that isn't the point. Most real fans were happy to see it happen.

There is also this little tid bit.

Then there are moments like these that make up for the whiny bitchyness, because unlike a lot of BADLY written super heroes, spidey isn't perfect. He has his moments of horrible, and his moments of greatness.
