first get yourself a rune book and enough runes to fill it.

then go to doom and mark near all the liche spawns.
drop in book
there are 6-8 main liche spawns in doom and they are very fast spawning. also, mark liches in deceit and other main liche spawn areas like in covetous in other words try to mark at least 10-16 spots. so that when you run the macro by the time you come back to doom they have re spawned.

first create a hot key for attack next non friendly.
to do so you have to make 2 hot keys one for target closet non friendly
and 1 key for attack last target. record yourself clicking 1 key then the other. bam you have attack closest non friendly

next open your razor and record yourself sacred journey to one of the spawn.
record consecrate weapon
record hitting attack next non friendly hot key.
pause 10-20 secs (depending on your damage); side note: may have to repeat this step and above step depending on how many monsters are in the area.

sacred journey to next spawn. rinse, and repeat.

next shrink your screen to half the size and open up media player (unless you have 2 monitors) put in favorite movie.
click play on razor, and click play on media player.
as long as you can see your character at all times they view this as legal. so enjoy. person i enjoy running around so i can click my primary weapon hot key, but each to their own.
there are scripts out there for easy uo that does checks for available monsters but i've heard this is the easiest way. dunno you can test around with it. good luck.


if you take someone else's kill all you have to do is click stop and say i'm sorry it was a macro. 7-10 people will forgive you for it. but i would suggest tabbing out quickly if you see another player's name or hitting stop.

Run in Doom dungeon and kill everything you meet. Not the titan guardians.

this is a way to do everything while watching a movie. just as long as you can see your player you are not afk weapon leveling. lots of people do it so i thought to put this up so everyone can do it.

oh yeah you might want to have a little dex. like 210 or be able to put in another macro to cast heal/sacred boon. good luck.

I find this method a little cheesy, and it being an option for players one of the "problems" the shard has. But who am I to talk, for any leveling I have done was only to about 25 or 30, the rest I either paid someone to level it or used level deeds.

I have always been curious about this type of leveling especially for those weps that are not enhanced yet, having about 50 to 60 durability points. That seems to be a risky way to get your wep down to zero without noticing. (good car chase scene going on in the movie you are watching) You may end up losing some valuable durability points if you continue to fight with a weapon that hit the zero mark.

That is why powder of fortification is a fairly sought after item. Also, a SR +5 deed will keep the item up and running. In my experience, it takes quite a while to wear down a weapon 50-60 durability

I have taken to carrying a repair kit with me for my bow. It has 200+ duribilaty but I wear it our pretty fast...I"d say at leat once a day if im hunting

My bio is using a 60 dura weapon, and I often have to repair it after just a few hours of running balrons or just hunting through Sanctuary. SR 5 deeds definitely seem like the way to go, and they aren't that expensive (2.25m or so each). Still probably wouldn't put one on a weapon that had less than 500 useful points on it, but might for a weapon that had less than 500 and had everything a bio could use (something like Lightning/SS/LL @ 48+).

For durability, just apply "Powder of Fortifying" to your weapon, its cost about 200k-300k have 10 charge and 1 charge apply +10 durability.

Ultimately, I see what you're trying to do here by drawing attention to how easy a process this is, but UO is an old game. Things that are repetitive are going to get scripted. Sounds like weapon leveling is as much effort as it should be.

I'd still rather pay that guy in the other thread to level weapons for me.

Why not have someone farm your gold also. Why play the game if everything is done for you.

If I could pay someone to farm gold for me, I would, but one of us would definitely be getting the short end of the stick in that deal.

Let's say I've got six hours of online time a night. In those six hours, I could put 10 levels on my weapon. Or, I could go run balrons or collect ointments for six hours, then pay someone to level a weapon for me with the money I made. It doesn't really matter which route I take, since the result is the same.
