Today I've had issues getting the portal chat to open up. It's worked for me before, as it did yesterday, but now the loading screen simply isn't ever resolving. I'm using Firefox, and have also tried it in Google Chrome with the same results, and I don't think I've changed anything on my computer or downloaded anything to make this change. Anyone able to point me in a direction to resolve this? Thanks.

Maybe its a form of web blocking. For me at work, sometimes i can load the portal, sometimes it just does that loading page hang. If it does that hang, if i leave the page and try again, I get a blocked webpage saying its been blocked due to it being "web based email" Dunno if that is your problem too. But I thought I'd share.

On a side note, I can watch youtube, visit facebook and use all its features. But they block web based email. Also sometimes when I'm on a UO type site, i get that blocker staying no "weapons" or "Occult", I should prolly just do my work lol

Nah, I'm running from home, with no firewalls or anything active.

This was resolved for me by +Colibri, and I'll repost the issue that I ran into in case anyone runs into the same unique problem. In short, back when I was last looking for a free shard several, several months ago I made an account here, looked around for a moment, then decided no, not for me. I left, my in-game account got deleted but not my board account and I remade things, with the in-game account the same as the forum account.

This did, as one might think, cause issues with the server and whatnot and blah-blah technical stuff that our lovely Administration had to fix, and many kudo's to them for doing so. In short: if you had an old account and you're recreating, be careful!!

For me i had same problem when i forgot java script disabled on my browser. My suggestion check java script.

this didnt help i even updated java and nothing still not loading......
