I'm looking to buy 2 maxed mules. They don't have to be absolutely top of the line perfect, since I don't really know the difference between standard ones with 100 skills and 1k HP/STR.

I'm relatively new (<1 week), but I have some cash saved up to buy some pets and attempt to run the Doom gauntlet (among other things). I can afford these critters if the prices people have given me were correct.

Also, I'm wondering if there's a significant difference in DPS output and survivability using 5 nobles instead of 5 mules. There's this pack aspect for nobles that I don't really understand, and I know the mules have backpacks, are poison immune, and use magery.

Any reason not to just buy 5 maxed nobles instead? If you're selling mules, let me know. Thanks.

Nobles are great for those 'all vs. one' fights and run pretty quickly, making them ideal for fighting in the Gauntlet. If multiple pack instinct animals (of the same pack, ie. Canine, Daemon, Arachnid) are attacking a target, each will get a 25% damage increase per additional animal, up to 100% max I believe. So if you have three nobles on one target, for example, they will each have a 50% damage increase.

For running the Gauntlet, I personally use 4 nobles and 1 mule (to ride on ahead of the nobles, they can usually keep up). I don't sell the nobles [yet] but for 200k per I can get you probably the best mules you can find. 1,100HP, all other stats maxxed, 100.0 in all skills but Magery and usually 100+ ability points leftover in case they get that dreaded stat loss.

I think 200k is more than a fair price, although I did find a few 1090+ HP mules today on The Noble Mule vendor in TC that were completely maxed (and a breedable male/female pair - which obviously I wasn't going to try for my sanity's sake).

So I found what I was looking for, but when I get a 6th follower available, I'll definitely look you up again.
