Maybe Gm can add a new scroll in ed room, as we have relayer deeds we can add pet look change deed too. im shure there is people wanting to run around with a group of exodus- who takes only one slot per. not like bio. It would be awesome to add pack instinct, if your pets dont have that.

interesting idea so you are saying around the cost of a relayer deed for a pack so 500eds x 5?
(does math, figures out cost in gold)
ok so for that price you could buy enough ointments and reagents to...
max at gen1 several species of tameable done with the correct mother and father pair each line would yield around 400+ mill of sellable maxed pets.
whats awesome is this ability is already in the game, nothing to code
max bears they have bear pack instinct, imps (the little green dudes), ice dogs (that cast paralyse), hellhounds (that have firebreath) (both have canine pack instinct and can blend with imp pets)..
all of this.. already is in the game and is far cheaper than what you have just proposed

if money is no problem you could add an extra 4 pet slots and run around with three weird bios and there really are some weird ones out there like the reaper trees and im sure ive see daemon or balron bio. thats just for looks though im told that non human bios are pretty weak.

I brought this same thing up 9 years ago. I would pay 500 a pop to change the look of my imp pack to big dogs/wolves or maybe a orc, elf or lizered man ect or something. pet hunting here kinda sucks because you have a bunch of horses kicking a target or a bunch of fluffy imp squirles hopping around your tune.
no change to stats, skills or even movement speed, just the image on screen. Would be a good gold sink and I would enjoy it. just my two cents.

my previous reply stands..
for 500eds thats 25mill gold, you can find your parents of note, oint them to max and make your pack + 2500 animals of any species.. imp pets need a death malus badly, there is no reason to give them vanity skins on top of it. Think about it, at that point this deed wouldn't be used on regular pets, only imps which since they can look like whatever you want. it would become the only thing people use.
so as it stands 2 or 3 breeds in the entire animal kingdom see use, not because others aren't viable more because people haven't and are un-creative. so what this proposes, is to threaten even those few , the nobles, the mules etc.. no-one is going to pay for it for a creature with a death malus.
It does bring up an interesting point, do you think that imps are supposed to be this way? or is it an oops that became popular (like instaheal)

I actually like the looks of my little green ferrets. The fact that such small and rascally things could pack such a punch is kinda cool to me. My problem with them is trying to keep them shut up about their complete and total admiration of Chuck Norris.

You can silence them in the pet menu. Just have to redo after each server restart I believe.
My frustration with my ferrets is keeping them close by. Mine seem to go running off killing things and don't always come back.
So tend not to use them.
Need a setting or proper "leash" to keep them say no further away then 6 paces or so.

You need to use "all follow me" or "all guard me" commands. Be sure to read
http://www.uoex.net/wiki/Commands under "Pet commands".

I only ever use my pets on "guard me". Doesn't seem to matter.
Seems they often get a bit of bloodlust in a target rich environment & forget they supposed to be guarding me. I find them again & refresh the "guard me" option & follow me again for awhile anyway.
So now I only use them in "safe" areas when I am using gargoyle tools.
Always well fed etc...

Not 'guard me': "all guard me" or "all follow me". I never had such problems as you with mules, imps and bio.

Okay thanks for that info, will try that.
I just "assumed" the guard me command on the pet menu would work.
At least the silence pet works...
