Hello,

With the update to the Tailoring BODS, we would like to solicit your feedback on these changes. The good, the bad, the ugly. Please keep the thread on topic, civil and constructive. Your feedback will be taken into consideration in case any tweaks may need to be made to the system.


Updates to Tailoring BODs.

A new crafting currency called Florin. Each craft has its own. The Florin vendor is currently only found in Excelsior Halls in the Guild Registry building. Seek out the Tailor Guildmaster there. In the future, all guild masters will sell these items.

We also added tailor's florin and bones to [exex.

Some new items:

1) A limited use salvage bag (craft specific). This one introduces it for leather items.

2) A new resource belt, which increases your chances of getting a certain kind of leather from any mob. Blaze from a lizardman? Possible!

3) An unlimited use BOD requester. You can keep this in your backpack, and request a BOD from anywhere! Normal timer's apply.

4) A limited use temporal BOD requester. This item allows you to collect several BODs at once, but it's limited to once per 24 hours, by account. Available in 7 use, and 30.

I see that the "Ironwood Crown" has been changed from a chest piece to a helmet. This changed all ironwood crowns in the game.

turned in two bods i got gold reward for both but no items and can't get another bod after turn in

I turned in 12 cloth BODS I got some money and 1 BOD back.

First off thank you very much for the overhaul. Looking over the rewards on the wiki I would like to note that if I were to get a 120 Tailoring PS from the absolute highest tier of BOD I would definitely not be a happy camper. IMO you should really pull the power scrolls as possible rewards and sub something else. Along those lines I'd also say the same goes for runic kits due to relayers unless something has been done to tweak them so they can compete. Also, what are florins and leather medallions?

turned in 1 small bod, no reward, no new bod available to replace it - and, as an aside, master's knife is still a reward? isn't it regarded as largely useless like all the colored scissors?

Please do not take this as a slam as I know you all work very hard on these things. This is more of constructive criticism I hope.

I think the overhaul can be a good thing; but my question is; what sort of testing is done on these changes before being put into the live server?

I realize tests are not going to catch every bug; but seems to be basic stuff that is not working with the Tailor BOD turn ins. Such as gold only reward. No new BOD after turn in.

I do not know the testing that goes in; but just wondering what sort of testing takes place to catch some of these basic items?

So my suggestion is a bit more testing before putting in live. =)

The master's knife gives you extra leather when you cut with it.

I suppose I should go over the new rewards that you can purchase - I will be updating the main post shortly.

I turned in a large 20ct exceptional spined 6 piece bod and got a check for 37k nothing else other than an achievement and couldn't get another bod after I turned it in.

The issue with getting no items should be fixed, as well as the issue where it didn't reset the timer.

Hi +Requiem they were cloth bods jester suits, hats, shirts.

Those issue should be fixed.

Other known issues include

1) powder of fortifying not working on metal items
2) sealant of durability not working on GoC items (possibly other items)
