Looks like I might be locked up in a IRL jail for maybe 6 months.....How can I make sure my account, house, etc doesn't disappear?

Well, the instructions for soldiers on deployment is to email +C using the addy on the front page and request that your account be parked.

Whether he'll do it for prison I don't know.

If u have a very trusted friend who is willing and has the available house slots xfer houses to him/her if necessary or same friend could just park some chests in his house with ur stuff in them waiting for ur return n let the houses drop if they do. Put any gear, relayers, account bound items in backpack n or bank. If u do have to do a recovery all will be there. Gl n gb

I hope I'm not too late... About your houses, they would fall 3 months after your last login. The account is supposed to stay for 6 months, but actually it's much longer and I will probably officially change those timings - so if it's 6 months, you don't have to worry much about your account.

Now, what i'm about to write is basically against the rules - but like dreamstalker said, if you have a family member or close friend, you can ask them to login to your account two times in between, about every 2 months to keep the houses from dropping. If it's just a login & logout (few seconds, without moving the character), for a limited few number of times, it's not something we'd put someone in jail for.

Note: if you have a "friend" who happens to have to houses and that "friend" no longer plays, but you would log on to their account every now and then to keep the houses refreshed, while you would be using those houses for storage, then that is considered cheating.
