Yes, i mean for the players. Something that self-extracts and applies the (hopefully small) patch.
Oh and there's plenty of things you can do to help. I also want to add some new items, so scouting for new ideas, or coming up with original ideas would be a great help.

okay, then the patch maker in MulEditor is perfect. It creates a patch that is about 4megs or so depending on just how much content you are adding. I wrote a cheap tutorial for it earlier in this thread just because it requires the use of a verdata.mul file.
And I am always thinking of things to change with UO. Would be great to one day have a completely new game based on the UO rule and skill sets. Hard to believe that after all these years UO is still the only game that seems to get it right as far as "leveling" goes for a mmorpg.

Then what in the world is coli looking for ? That sounds like a good alternative. o.o
And yes, i know what you are talking about. I've looked through the galleries of other freeshards, some of them have amazing ideas for new dungeons and stuff, but that requires a pretty steady dev team, by which i mean people that are dedicated and stay on the job.

I'm all for a modding team, Dash ! Actually, i was thinking exactly the same when i came back from shopping just now. Let's organize.
But first, let us please check what the players actually want in a more public thread. Maybe we can even attract more modders/artist with that, what do you think ?
And about VERy: That sounds great ... a simple batch might be smaller and faster, but we have to test that.

Modding team sounds awesome. I do also agree that we would need more people.
Dash, do you happen to still have a copy of VERy? I'm trying to find it on 'the google' but just keep getting pages about a "very good mulpatcher".
Well, thats all I have to add at the moment. In the process of working on a complete login screen makeover. Here is what I have so far.

I know it still leaves a lot to be desired. I am just testing out different things (like font coloring) to see what works atm so please don't laugh.

OMG! It just came to me. An idea for a whole new game and graphics set. Dink Smallwood online! What could be better than taking an unfinished game (Dink Smallwood) and combining it with a 13 year old online game (UO)? I kid, but I am going to look at that game for some graphics ideas.

You don't like my background
lol
Actually, there is nothing to laugh about in what you're trying there. If you need any help with photoshop, though, i will gladly help you.

Heh, I like your background, I'm just too lazy to make my own.
Please excuse my back to back posting. Probably shouldn't post when I'm too tired to see straight.

So how do we make it work for us ? I'm sorry if i sound dumb, but i'm a php-programmer, never done much in other languages and even though i am a rather pro console user, i have no idea how to bring this up-to-date.

I like what you got going on with your GUI. You should upload your gumpart.mul at what you have so far. Just changing out the bag graphics I'm happy with. I got mulpatch, just figured out how to use so I've been looking for all kinds of things I can get and idea on how I want to set it all up
