As someone who spent a lot of their early days bulk buying bottles and scrolls from NPC vendors, and selling them for double the price on ExEx, I can confirm that I would definitely do the above.

Shhhh, don't deter them. I do four maybe five trawls through vendors daily collecting my %. Without all the 'free money' i might have to grind gold heh.

Exactly, and this drives the prices down, which is the point.

exactly.. it doesn't that wasn't what i was saying at all
if person a) dips the price and person b) cleans them out to wholesale
the price has been dipped for 5 minutes.. that was my point.. the second the 1 player wholesales from the other its right back where you started, and players chimed in after telling you darn right this happens now.
