Trying to remember what I was doing 45 minutes before server down.. And I have not a single clue

no no no! I just came home and no shard! How will I get my gaming fix?!?!?

I am assuming that this LONG downtime has something to do with some type of repair that needs to be done. To have known about it before hand would have been great though. I loaded down my mule with my pack, getting ready to fletch to GM, and I got booted while not riding her :P When something like this happens, is there a revert or something?? It's been 45 minutes so far. Is this a frequent occurance??

Interesting.. Anybody else notice that in the Forum the posts are listed by time? Problem is, it's listed by our own local times.

Not a server crash, but a network malfunction.

Same problem has happened several times now, was usually resolved very quickly. This time I was able to find more about the error and so i have more insight into how to attempt a repair. Seems that the server looses connection internally (bad network card or cable).

Was at work during the time, quickly came home as I saw it was offline (good think it's just 2 miles away).

Again, a reminder. Make sure that your valuable items are insured, and your pets are bonded, as there is no telling when power or internet can go down (either at your place, or on the server).

WOw now thats dedication when a man drops work and rushes home to fix the prob for us to have fun.

A few months I will be playing on UOEX for a year and to be honest I have never suffered any downtime at all. I work alot and play late and have 4 chars with serious hours on them. I might get some lag here and there but still super impressed at the performance and dedication to this shard. I can remember back in the day every shard when origin owned them and then EA having 4 hour downtimes daily and then sometimes days when a simple patch went through or an expansion where you couldnt log on for almost a week. You guys rock
