Great Guide for the forums, But how about taking a few more hours and posting it to the wiki my friend. Its a great work. I'm also sure you could ask an EX gm to only allow you to edit it... *shrugs* All in all we need stuff like this for everyone playing here.

Danilo, I'm waiting on Coli to add the FCK Editor to Wiki (any day now), or let me know if he's unable to. If he can, then I can basically copy/paste my article into Wiki, add some headings and it stays true in its BBCode format. Otherwise, I gotta edit a lot of stuff and I'm lazy, so meh.
So within a week we'll see it on the wiki in one way or another

Devlin they should add this information to wiki. Make it it's own section.
Awesome job.
I didn't read all the posts so I'm not sure if anyone mentioned that the hat isn't mentioned from the GoC quest.

Reese, you are the first person to mention the hat.
Touche.
I'll consider adding it, dunno if I even want to suggest it to people :P
And I'm currently working on the wiki.

This bad boy is now available on the Wiki, much better formatting. Not as colorful, but hey, win some, lose some.

Good to see that this thing hit ~1600 views. About 600 were from me editing over and over :P
But now that it's on the wiki people can access it easier, meaning it should help more. It's under the New Player Guide, I may break it up and throw some individual sections thruout the wiki.. Iunno.
Regardless, end thread.

You might want to consider using something called "paragraphs" before telling people not to edit a wiki page.

"Paragraphs" don't look as good as formatted text does. You might want to consider writing your own guide of this length/magnitude and trying to edit it properly, before telling people their business. I'm not as concerned with the aesthetics of the article, but more so the content. What's important is what I've written and keeping it that way, not how I've displayed it.

Actually, proper use of paragrahs and other "displays" factor into information retention. People will learn better and retain more information if it's presented in a logical, easy-to-read fashion. Content means nothing if it's a hard-to-read jumble, because all the hard work put into the content won't be fully absorbed by the targeted audience.

Just sayin'.

The entire guide is a list. Lists of armor, lists of locations, lists of champs and teleporters. You want it in a paragraph? Fine, it'll look like me when I wake up in the morning; disoriented, scrambled and probably upside down.
How it's presented currently provides an easy manner in which for people to read and return to, instead of sifting thru sections and sections for one tidbit.
We're on the internet, home of the TLDNR. Gotta break stuff up in intervals and keep it short, or you lose the avg user's attention to the banner ad trying to get you to shoot the ducks. Which I never get.

Your guide helped make me even more awesome than before, something most scientists thought was impossible.

Very helpful guide. Could you add a section detailing how to sacrifice your fame for the self-rezz and then how to use the ability?

NOTE: Bushido affects the damage that Whirlwind does. Here is the formula: ((# of opponents * Bushido) * (# of opponents * Bushido) / 3600) = Bonus Damage
is this right?

(9*120)*(9*120/3600)= bonus damage.
(1080)*(1080/3600)= bonus damage.
1080*0.3=bonus damage
324 bonus damage? is that a lot? *anyone at 120 Bushido gets this bonus*

or is it a %?

% of what your base damage? ok my halberd does 18-19 pts damage. let's take 18. so 18 x 324% = 58.32 <----if that's how you do that formula, please make the corrections.

if 58.32 damage bonus from Bushido
the new formula
(# of opponents*Bushido)*(# of opponents*bushido/300)=y
weapon base damage * y% = bonus damage

because 324 sounds like a lot doesn't it? o.O

For example, if you are using a weapon with Whirlwind on it, and you are surrounded by 4 enemies, and have a Bushido skill of 90, the additional damage you do to each of those enemies will be 36 points of additional damage. The damage bonus is capped at 100.
