Might has well use explosion kegs to block them off! Kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

who would have thunk it that excelsiors saviours would be carpenters ^_^ why don't we all just walk around with 8 tables, and deploy makeshift pill boxes to shoot from! or better yet, surround britt with them preventing ANYTHING from getting in while we pick em off slowly with bows. ofc they will decay quicker so field engineers will be required ^_^

this is gonna end up being team fortress 2, uo style lol

my thought exactly minus the little campers sitting in shadows with a sniper riffle. :P no really you can use tables to create makeshift bottlenecks. but i prefer the snag and drag move. use an area effect damage bow hit them all and run to an area where we lob arrows and expots. :)

Interesting ideas! Unfortunately, these soldiers won't be like any typical dumb monster. They might move the tables and crates aside! Also I forgot to tell you guys...

All structures that are overrun with 20+ units and no players around, will be considered captured and destroyed. HOWEVER, this does not include the Ankhs and Corpse Stones.

One more thing. Stelios shared with me that the Umbris army is making mobile siege weapons that act as Shadow Casters. When he approached one of these devices for a closer look, he felt a suppression of magical energy around him. Bael'Nefario may use these magical machines to counter any type of field, wall, or even healing spells players can use. The good news is, Stelios saw multiple weak points to these machines...

Ok, so basicaly, what +Veritas is saying is; Do what you will, the invasion will reach the castle!
Maybe we are better off making a stand at the castle walls and place all structures strategicaly around all possible entry to the castle and send out elite troops to try and slow them down and even try to cut their numbers down. And maybe stop discussing the strategy openly on the forum, i fear a blood bath coming to us! Could these monsters be Gm played? I wonder!

Still pumped up for this event but I hope its soon because I'll be working 60 hour weeks starting Jan.3 and my uo time will be severely limited for a while (16-20 weeks). :(
P.s. I would hate to call in sick to work to attend an event (well, maybe not hate but be slightly uncomfortable?) ;)

Yup this sounds like a good plan... my suggestions is that when the D-Day arrives.... take whatever your drug is and get high! Then go on a killing spree like there's no tomorrow. Or... how about casting Energy Field around the troops and then hit them with range wep/spells? Since they can move boxes they cannot penetrate the Energy Fields...

What +Veritas is trying to do is hit us with the FEAR tactic! and it's working . . . .

I thought I would be able to do this event during Christmas break, but it's not looking so good. I have my sister and my brother here along with their kids, and that kind of gathering doesn't happen often. The only significant amount of time I have to log in is late at night (or early, depending on how you look at it). I've logged in a few times already for a few minutes, but mostly to check on things.

Look forward to this event some time after December. =)
