It's back up =) that was quick, who had +Coli on speed dial? lol

I'm basically synced to EST so i usually don't go to bed till 3-5am.

I was just running some queries and it appears to have overloaded the system. I'm extremely sorry for this crash. I will probably take it offline (we'll run from a diff machine for a few hours) to do some maintenance. (The server's been responding weird lately, time for a reformat).

I haven't been able to log in for the last couple of hours. I can't open the Portal page either, but I can open the website. Is it just me?

no it's not just you I haven't been able to log either any idea yet whats up ?

I haven't had any issues with logging in, but it's been extremely laggy. Coli is restarting the server now, so give it a shot in about 15 minutes to see if that corrects your login issues.

If it's been the last couple of hours, and the portal also doesn't work, then it's a network problem. Either your ISP blocked my ISP, or vice versa. Or perhaps if you have an antivirus, it's blocking the connection.

As for the server, well it's acting strange for the last couple of days. I cant get it up but it seems to freeze after about 4 people connect to it. Doing my best to have it up ASAP.

Turns out this time the solution was as simple as not running the server from a .bat file, but running it directly from Start->Run prompt. Not sure if it's different, but it seem to have done the trick.

I will most probably reformat the server tomorrow. That implies there will be two 30 minute downtimes (first to get the server to a diff computer, and then back again once it's all set up). Not 100%, but I will let you all know tomorrow beforehand. And will do my best to allow everyone to continue playing on a backup machine.

I take it went down again ?

It was just a really huge lag spike, probably from the house drop / server cleanup.
