Install VirtualBox, then make a VM for XP. I used to run UO like that, but I have a spare box with an XP partition on it now.

I run Arch Linux for everything except a few games like UO. I guess it's been almost 15 years since I started with Linux. I don't blame you for preferring it to Vista.

I'm using Ubuntu Intrepid 9.1 ... to play UO I used Wine and winetricks to get .NET framework for razor and other things.

I don't understand what you mean when you say lack of layer styles...what is that? I use GIMP for everything photo-related and have never had problems :)

What are you using to replace the graphics in the .mul files? I'm just curious because I'm currently redesigning the gumps for my client. I'm just bored with the current look of the client and want to spruce it up some.

If anyone doesnt feel like having to learn mulpatcher then I can def patch the things you want for you and email it to you with instructions on where to put the attachment. Its just easier and less chance of making big mistakes lol... and I dont mind doing it. So you can PM me on the forums and i'll be in touch.

Dash, are you doing it this way b/c you are making multiple option patches? Like, pack 1, pack 2, etc? Let me know.
