I wrote a macro for restocking my vendors, so restocking is just a mouse click away to me. Since I log on every day around 9am, there is no problem letting me restock your vendors once a day, I will just modify my macro. The requirements are that all four vendors should be reachable from a single position and I also have a chest with new repair deeds in reach.
Also since the items are free and in the past I only did "negative stealing" by filling up your bags every then and now, there is no risk of losing more stuff.
It's just an offer for the community, please PM "Saya" in game if you need that kind of help

im sorry but you're wrong their behaviour does violate the rules
3a : Respect other players and staffmembers at all times.
(being so selfish that you take all repair deeds for yourself leaving none for anyone else doesnt just show a lack of respect for other players that require them it goes so far as to show contempt for his fellow player)
6a: If there is more than one player at a spawn, the players must take turns. Once a player kills/tames a monster or takes/steals an item, he or she must go in the back of the line and wait for others to get their turn.
(many many people have reported that this player steals kills ive experienced it as well)

calling someone out by name on the forum or in World Chat is explicitly against the rules
Is it? I vaguely recall something along those lines posted by one of the +'s to the forums years ago but I can't find it anywhere in the Codex. The only thing in the codex is generic harassment. Calling someone out for doing you harm is not generally considered harassment. You'd figure that if +C considered it important in every scenario, he'd put it on the web page.
Repeatedly emptying someone's repair deeds chest, on the other hand, probably is harassment. And it's definitely against the rules to do it to the new player donation chests -- says so right in the room.
Though no one has specifically said so, some of the things I've read over the years imply that +C logs it whenever someone adds or removes an item from a container they don't own. This helps detect and prove multi-accounting when the secondary account magically transfers the gains to the prime.
So... Sidca, I don't know if you did it or not but if you did I suggest it's likely the admins already have proof. It's only too late to apologize -after- they wield the ban hammer.

checked codex and surprisingly blacklisting isnt mentioned in it but as recently as 2019 colibri did discuss blacklisting and declared it as "not allowed". colibri likes to make changes to game and never mention them maybe this was one of those times. here is the link to his 2019 post on forums
viewtopic.php?p=74546#p74546
or if youd rather skip the thread

I've just went through all the replies, looks like most people's opinion is that things should remain "buyer beware", even with some who have experienced this issue (either as a buyer, or seller's remorse, or seller's input error), that deals are final. But even discussing this issue is part of the solution, or maybe the whole solution, so that we can say our opinion and hear what others have to say (thanks for mentioning that, slartibartfast).
Regarding some of the issues mentioned:
- I'd say Excelsior is already very babyproof, so in a way further babyproofing shouldn't be a priority.
- The "technical solution" is simple to code, and I'll do it as a priority. Already a good amount of time spent on this, another hour of coding isn't a problem so that I can put this to rest, so that there's some result/solution to the issue that was raised.
- @qbf: you mentioned in your first reply, "don't buy from Michelancello". This is blacklisting, and not allowed. As you pointed out, it would be good to be able to call out the potentially suspicious sellers, and if you stick to facts and not go against the person/name, that is (and should be) allowed. Maybe this should be an overall rule, for discussing anything in chat, or on the forum. For example, this is allowed: "i had this same item on my vendor for weeks and it didn't sell, finally got it to sell for 800k, so I'd say it's not worth 10mil". But this isn't: "Don't buy from ProverbialSaruman, he always scams people".

Firstly, if you accuse me publicly, then please provide clear evidence. Which you definitely don’t have and can’t have. (the +C check definitely doesn’t apply to this, since this is not your level of question and such checks are not done in public). For my part, I can also file a complaint about harassment and insults.
Secondly, regarding the removal of corpses. If you didn’t know, the server implements a system whereby someone cannot open the corpse of a monster killed by another player for a long time. And if you left the corpses of monsters for a long time so that this ban was lifted from them, then who is to blame for this? In addition, for the fact that I remove corpses and reduce the load on the server, I am given a reward provided personally +C. If you are not satisfied with anything about this, then contact him to review this system
And whoever says that he wrote me some letters about repairdeeds, let him not lie. I did not receive such letters, otherwise I would have responded to this accusation with a personal message to him

You can see that this discussion is by no means looking for a solution to the problem. Obviously, it's all about apportioning blame and criticizing the rules of the game.
Shouldn't the question be: "How can you provide free repair deeds without an unfriendly player taking all of them?"
If no one asks this question, then it's all about publicly pillorying the guilty party.
Allegedly, around 4-5% of all people worldwide have such a social disorder and have neither a problem nor a sense of guilt about exploiting loopholes in a set of rules to their advantage. But neither an insult nor a public verbal flogging hurts them.

Correct,Luna. Use anti-raid on all free vendors, and move on to other important issues…..

I've seen a bug where you can't open the corpse but can [claim it. This was a nuisance in the Halloween dungeon where folks zipped hither and yon auto-claiming corpses as they ran by. So at the moment at least, you're mistaken. You -can- [claim another player's reserved corpse immediately after it drops.

the repair box was on average pillaged every 3 days
its been 5 days now without incident
its possible that i did go a step to far in naming who the thief was
but when you behave like trash
dont be surprised when someone tries to take out the garbage
and im sorry i dont dance around this new politically correct way of behaving, it doesnt make any sense to me i cant understand it
i call it how i see it, and i prefer to tackle problems head on openly and honestly

It is of course very sad that there were bugs at Halloween. This year I never went to Halloween and I definitely didn’t loot anyone’s corpses there. The fact that somewhere at some time something was not working correctly does not change anything, since no one made changes to the operation of the system and it continues to work properly. You CANNOT loot someone else's monster corpse.

This is all great, of course, but you still haven’t provided a screenshot that would support your accusation. So at the moment it is slander on your part against me
