I love that you have the Umbris Fort so difficult I couldnt beat it my first day back. I had to hunt for a few new items, rework my equipment, and make a plan to survive in there...a new challenge! I love it!

Sounds to me like you got what you asked for.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say the fact that they actually gave us something challenging (which 95% of this server's content is not, with all the gear and pets available to us) IS the "prize."

I'll address some of the issues here, right now what I'm seeing is lots of people attempting to solo/duo the place and while it CAN be done by some of our most advanced players that is not what it was built for, so if your soling just understand that you will die....lots.
There are special drops, they are rare and I will not be making them more common. The pet issue I am working on I was aware but thank you for reporting it.
I may rework the drops a bit but I wont be making the place any easier.
Death traps /insta death is very easy to avoid if you pay attention. This place needs some tactics to survive so if you go in there and simple attempt to whirlwind everything your going to die.
Its a challenge and in time I have no doubt people will figure out the tricks and tips it makes to get their rares and survive intact.
Overall its made as a challenge and to be fun! However I can not stress enough that it is not a place for less advanced players you need good skills and good gear or really good group mates to go in there. There are some cookies,surprises and things you can not get anywhere else in the game in there if your willing to work and die for them.

personally i love it. it's challenging and easy to get around if you know where to look, the rat mice are obnoxious but then again so am I. I think that mocha did an awesome job making this "different" or "unique". Thank you mocha for the new dungeon.

Awesome job +Mocha. The dungeon is innovative and I like the way its not just bash bash bash, you do need to use a bit of nous to get through there... I tell you i died a lot before i realised that some clumsy psychotic bio-engineer had left puddles of extremely dangerous slime on the ground (no seriously they got me like 5 times before i realised what it was lol).

Overall, excellent work.

That last bit did look confusing lol!
Perhaps what I should have said is I won't be making the rare drop anymore common but I'm still looking over the gold/ointment etc loot tables if that makes me a bit more clear.

I noticed someone has been hard at work getting the items that can be stolen etc.
I believe the issues with pets has been resolved in a interesting fashion but we will see.
Thanks to those of you who are finding it to be a fun new thing, I may expand on it but lets see how the base does for now.
It will be interesting to see who all has found what in there :D

BTW that psychotic bio-engineer has managed to kill herself on those tiles and you would think seeing as I made them I would avoid them!

Has anyone found any rare loot yet? I spent a few hours in there and killed everything several times...what is the mob on the bottom floor supposed to drop? Anyone know yet...

Thanks +Mocha for a new challenge. I'm sure +Chaos passed the word, along already, but since I'm here, reading this thread as i was TOLD i should, here's my 2 cents. I agree dungeons aren't supposed to be easy places.

(smirks thinking of all the DnD campaigns he has run)

But on my first entrance into Fel Wrong I was shut down at the inside gate, surrounded and killed due to not being able to move. I noticed this happens a lot to many ppl with a lot of the newer content... specially the seasonal stuff. My grievance is simply allow us to at least enter the place and take 3 steps before we are over run. If i wasn't stubborn and kind of mad... i wouldn't have kept going back in and died 7 more times at the entrance... I still don't know whats in the place.

That being said... I am surely not geared like Anarchy, but I can hang. I am pure melee and built to take a beating. I like the idea of group play, but still I should have gotten farther then the front door. 3 insane mages are nasty magical damage.

Keep it up, and perhaps keep the front entrance clear a little be... hard to enter your house Milady... :P

danilo's like one of those medium dex medium hps players who's just plain awesome at healing himself (something i can't do). fyi: use divine fury a lot and i'm sure you'll make it 4 steps in :) the only thing i found inside were some deco items, and oints.

I understand your grievance Danilo but the problem is that if they drop the number of mobs in there, or make them easier it wont be a challenge to some of the more advanced players. The dungeon was retooled to be one of the most difficult areas in the game. If we make everything only moderately difficult it will leave the more advanced players with less challenging areas to hunt.

Think of it as a goal. With a big enough group of moderate dex/hp players like yourself you should be able to do well in there with the right strategies. Or aim to improve your stats a little more before taking on the toughest place and then complaining that its too hard. Or convince a vet to take you there and show you around.

I'm back from a little break, haven't had a chance to check this new place out yet, but I'm really looking forward to it. Just a thought for Dan. Sometimes monsters get pulled towards the entrance by retreating players. Perhaps stealthing in past the monsters And finding a better place to launch your attack would be a better strategy. Unless of course stealthing is disabled.

On another note, if the loot is truly rare, it wll take many kills to get the drop, something I look forward to attempting.

Thanks in advance for this new challenge, this sounds like just what I was looking for.

If you did QDF, then you'd understand that, im not asking for things to be made easier... I'm asking for a small foot hold inside... so trains don't happen as often... there is a small amount of time where you don't see yerself... so you have no option to defend yerself. Can't stealth for long inside... the mobs pop you out... If anything when a train does happen... having the monsters walk back to where they came from say after 2 Mins... would be what Im asking for... there are entrance guardians... but then again they aren't that strong... so its fine for them to be there... IMO. So far the place is fun... cept for the begining of it... i shouldn't have to clean up after ppl who cant hang in there... just my two cents.
