I don't understand code, so apologies if this is a silly question. I notice it takes you to a pre-set seat and apparently a pre-set box. What happens if two of you are at the same level? At which point can the box be changed?

Someone told me to try this in global so I did. Best advice ever. It worked, no hitches, from moment one. And I think I'll be writing some of my own mini-scripts for other things I do.

I gotta add my appreciation for this script also. Took me from 33.8 to 95 in about 3 hours using only 250 picks. Excellent work, and many thanks to Blazin :)

Thanks...

Just got back to my PC after a few beers and some TV with the wife, lockpicking +63.5 (91.5) in about 250 lockpicks.
Perfect lockpicking script for this shard

I'm playing 2D client ver 4.0.11c.
And there is your problem. The minimum recommended version is 5.0.0 as per the codex info. You might want to upgrade your client and see if the problem persists.
Compatibility info

Our shard should accept connections from the following clients. All of these methods haven't been tested, that's why if you encounter problems, we suggest you use the recommended versions:

Client.exe (by changing login.cfg):
3.0.4 and below (does not work; we will probably never support these versions)
3.0.5 - 3.0.7 (theoretically; we don't recommend these versions)
4.0.0 - 4.0.11 (tested; but we don't recommend these versions)
5.0.0 - 5.0.5b (tested; MOST RECOMMENDED VERSIONS)
5.0.5c - 5.0.9 (tested; works well)
6.0.0 - 6.0.1 (basically works, but with some issues)
6.0.2 and above (does not work; we don't know when we'll support these versions)
And a little snippet from EUO forums regarding version 4.0.11c
but it has been stated 3 times now in this forum in last 48 hours - this client is NOT supported.

Might be best to torrent the pre-patched Excelsior client. Look at uoex.net for the link. I assume it's possible to upgrade in different ways, but I never did it, so I'm not the person to say how.
