Hello! Buongiorno!
I've been learning Italian for a couple of weeks but i'm experiencing some difficulties with the grammer

So there is my question.How to say: "What is".
According to my book it is "Qual è" but according to Internet and other sources it is "Qual'è".
So is there anyone who can help
