well, i darkened it a little bit, if you however dont like it you can still switch to SubSilver theme in your CPanel - thats the default phpBB theme everybody's used to.
I like this theme on forums and front page but it can be hard to add some banners or buttons. Top sites, banner exchange or paypal. They wont suit this great white theme ... I just use previewed this post ... my siggy kinda dont suit here (it will be changed ) so probably other banners wont.
should be easy to put in a few 100x40 buttons, but banners are going to be a problem... well it can just go above the page ... thats where a site navigation bar will be. it's not going to be a portal actually, just those few sections that are written on the frontpage currently (not just single pages, but browsing-type systems)
Hmm banner thingy is optional cause i noticed only 1 banner exchange http://exchange.tanjiers.org/ Its not soo good and not soo bad (check click in stats). I noticed that you cant come back to main site atm. no link back Also there should be place for news (last 3 news or so) on main page. So ppl will know whats going on.
