The Dunedain (formerly D&D) are proud to announce the opening of our guild hall and player town! We are looking for more members to hunt through Felucca with us and revive role-playing on this great shard. I am aware of the previous and similar post, but I felt a fresh start is required now that we have finalised our guild.
Guild Story, Aim and Mission
We are the remnants of Dunedain Rangers from Felucca. Our mission is to fight the Dark Lord and his minions who have taken over the towns and infested the dungeons of Felucca. Our aim is to immerse ourselves as fully into role-play as possible by exclusively hunting in Felucca. As a team, we will hunt and survive in the wilds as Rangers while completing player-created quests and missions.
Role-Play Rules
We have some simple rules that help limit and enhance our role-play experience. The basic rules are:
1) No relayers or leveled looted weapons
2) Only use gear that is crafted or has been looted - Looted artifact weapons and armor are allowed
3) Max of 2 power scrolls are allowed to develop your character's skills
The above are simply guidelines that will help limit the power of your character and guide you in building a RP alter-ego that requires the aid of guild members to survive Felucca.
Role-Playing Your Character
It is completely up to you what character/s you wish to RP. We are Rangers but we also enlist the help of Mages and Healers in our quest to reclaim Felucca. You can either start a new character or use an existing one. Again, it is up to you, so long as your character does not have overpowered gear/stats or instant healing. Our aim is to promote group work and depend upon others.
If you decide to start a new character, we have crafters and a town that will support you as you level your skills. The most important thing is to develop a backstory and stick to that backstory when deciding what gear and skills to use.
Player-run Town
Central to our RP immersion is the player town of Solace. It is inspired by fantasy medieval towns and houses all the shops that we need to be self-sufficient. Below are screen shots of the town and sources of inspiration. Bonus points if you can guess where the name comes from

We aimed to keep the town structures as realistic as possible while having in-game practicality.
Town centre at night.
Stables complete with horses.
Open air blacksmith and kitchen.
