If someone is running you up the best thing to do is just stick it to them. Especially if you know that people are running you up just to be dicks. Pick a buying point and stop there. Then the person that was running you up ends up with something they didn't want and lose a ton of money in the process (preventing them from running you up on the next item).

Pretty sure I told you that back in Feb. Look at previous auction data, see what a normal price is, set your price and STOP clicking bid when it hits the price you want to pay. You might not win every item this way, but you will never pay more than you want for an item. It's pretty straightforward.
Any time you overpay there is only one person to blame, yourself. NOBODY can click the bid button except you, nobody. So you cannot blame anyone else.
I routinely go for a few years without buying anything at auctions because I don't like the prices, as do most people. Go back and read all the historic data on auctions and you will see the winners of the big ticket items gets shared around. That's because most people, even really rich players, don't want to pay 3x - 5x what something is worth. You will find if you set yourself limits on prices, don't be greedy and try and win every big ticket item, think about the community more, share the items and don't click bid when it is in stupid high territory, then you will not overpay.
I've given you this advice on the forums and in PMs all year. It is fine if you won't listen to it and use it, but please, stop whining on the forum about "other people" driving you up. Remember, only you can click bid, it is only your fault if you overpay, nobody else's. Take ownership of that and stop blaming others.
Like I said in February, if I had of been allowed to win just one of the items I went for (panda and prism blade) then I was essentially out. You could have had all the other items for hundreds of millions of gold less. But because you refused to let me win even one single item, I had my full gold stack the whole way through. That resulted in you losing out on over half a billion gold purely because you wanted EVERY item and there waws no way you were going to let anyone win anything good. In a small community it is a much better strategy to cooperate than to try and dominate. You will find that one path leads to a much nicer place than the other.
I am not trying to be mean here, I am trying, again, to show you a way forward where you don't overpay.
If you want to win every item, win them now rather than wait for the next auction and dominate other players at the auctions, then that is also fine (read: scummy). But you will overpay if you take that attitude, it is that simple.

I'm always happy to discuss weapons with anyone. It would be best if you uploaded a pic of the weapon you are thinking of using it on.
In general Fire Area is going to do more damage to more mobs than Poison. One reason to go poison over fire is that if you already have a fire spell (or 2) on the bow then the poison area can cover another elemental damage type, making the weapon more well rounded.
The general wisdom is that AoE is not ideal on a bow. You can make one "all-rounder" of a weapon, which is fine. But usually people make an all-out AoE weapon (Dread sword/halberd/double axe/warhammer) and then an all out direct hit weapon (bow - yumi). That way you can maximise the potential of each type of weapon.
My advice would be to take your time using it and make sure you are 100% sure of what you're doing. It wasn't a cheap deed, you don't want buyers regret by misusing it.

Potentially.... That thing has really ugly stats... they are decent... but what on earth is with the 15% HLA? That stat is actively bad, and in such a small quantity? And a single SDI? My OCD wouldn't allow me to use that weapon.
EDIT: I miscounted the hits on that weapon, it was a 5x58 base! It was potentially a perfect choice, but again, that 15% HLA makes it pretty bad. I wouldn't use that weapon due to that stat being on it. You should never add HLA to anything. Think of it as dispel, but worse. Dispel does nothing, HLA makes you do less damage. So it's actively bad.
I’ll trade you a +10% to any stat deed for your Change X to Y. No player has ever owned a +10% seed other than me. The value is in the ability to go over the 60% max. Using the X to Y deed on anything you have now is not a great idea…as you’ve been told.

Looks like a GM made item. that is too perfect to be true.... 100% hit lightning etc. That is a GOD TIER weapon i didnt even know existed. Why are such bases not dropping anymore? i mean not even in rare cases. Makes the currently playing people like second level citizens....
Changing a leech to hit area or hit magic arrow makes this weapon even more broken.

This is a looted weapon with many deeds applied over the years. There are things you cant obtain by simply donating tens of thousands of dollars in a matter of a few months. Things like this require a lot of time and strategy.

Sadly god tier weapon drops were removed from the game. So noone will ever be able to create such weapon again.

talked to many vets.im a kinda new player but vets all said the same: there are god tier drops that are not available anymore.

I don't believe this is true. Also within about a year or so +C said on the forums that drops haven't been changed since near the beginning of the shard.
