I don’t run the Balron script because I have several farming spots and other general activities that earn me more than Balron farming.
How are you not getting this? If YOU farmed Balrons as heavily as your competitors, and derived your wealth from doing so, an accusation of rent seeking behavior wouldn't make a lot of sense. For Rent Seeking Behavior, your competitors have to be harmed more by the proposed rule change than you are. I mean, it's theoretically possible to engage in Rent Seeking Behavior simply because you're better prepared for the rule change than your competitors, but that's uncommon.

When you point out that you don't do much balron farming and haven't derived your wealth from that, you hold up a sign that says, "I agree that my rule change advocacy looks exactly like rent seeking behavior."
If anyone is not getting something it’s you. My position on this matter is the same now as it was years ago when I was broke. Nerfing balrons also increases the chance of players leaving that and farming where I currently farm which does hinder me.

You keep pushing an agenda and several people have called you out for your idiocy. Just stop…it’s not a good look.

Should i watch on all what he write through Rent Seeking Behavior glasses? Hm how could recall cooldown make Nick to stay rich. Ok he is Wyatt Earp of bee's so he don't need recall spells, what makes me to conclude that someone using recall spells is starting to step on he's heels.
Don't take close to heart, just being witty :P
I do do ballies sometimes but no often and not for long... usally more to grief the bally route then to make money... I tried getting bank sitters just to spawn sit at bally spawns but that never caught on...

I did bees only long enough to understand how they work and max out 4 hives... then I bought the fake hives and put them up because I hate mindless task that are not fun...

Cerrera I made my money 10 years ago the way Archey taught me... by WW spinning in umbrus camp and farming for ointments (oints were worth 7,200 gold back then)... I also try to donate $60 a year (5 bucks a month) in December as a thank you for running a shard I like.

oh and also I made about 300 million the first year that the Halloween dungeon came out because I was kinda the only person that could deal 5 with Apollyons in its first un nerfed form (300 dmg a tic dmg with feed backs), People would give me the green keys or trade 3 for one white. My client (razor) uses a different mechanic to talk to the server the new clients so, insta heal for me was truly insta and I could just. Now days the have changed speech spam rules and it nuffed razors only advantage and halved apolions dmg so, he is easy to do for everyone now.

These days I don't really do anything the requires gold other then yard tiles... Most of my play time in the last 3 months has been as a half naked newb in felc who isn't allowed to leave...

I didn't like it so I wrote a Razor script and perfected it (is about 85-90% as effceant as the orrain) and I published it (like 3 years ago) to try and flood it with people and make it less profitable and maybe get more people to realize it should be fixed. Not enough people use razor so it didn't have much of and affect, but I tried. Anyone wants it offer still stands... works well for hands free leveling or just high value script farming. Kinda hard to set up for yourself because razor is clunky and not user fiendly.
I'm fairly interested in how you got a bally script to -work- in Razor. It doesn't exactly have a detection for "do something different if mob has died."

Not using this tool, how about checking if your target is still in range? dead body should have different id like shrinked pet.

it is incredible over complicated... because razor is old as dirt... bascily it recalls in...

it trys to target friendly (other player) and if it finds one (in system msg) it ends script and recalls to next location. if not

then it tries to target a bally by monster type (40) or Lurg by monster type (267) if found (in system msg) it goes in to a 5x for loop fighting script that includes discord, consecrate weapon, target nearest, [claimall and a sort to trash for junk and sort to HBOH for valuable items. if none (found in system msg) of that set monster type is found it ends script and recalls to next location.

once 5 cycles of the fight scripts part (about 25 seconds) ends script and recalls to next location.

High Value hunting 1 points to/Starts High Value Hunting 2 and so on until you get to the end of the number of runes you want hunt in a loop (right now I just do 11 spots but, did have it go to 32 at one point) and then the last one just points to High Value Hunting 1 again in one big continuous circle.

Sadly I have to add in some really uggly Spam of organizers in order to clear my system log between locations as the older version of razor has not Clear system log command like the newer version does, meaning the script looks like a bulky mess. its clunky and archaic but, works well... prevents kill steal violations, doesn't waste time at locations that don't have the targeted spawn type. If I had all the time in the world to watch the screen I could hit Ctrl+shift+1 and then sit back and twittle my thumbs until I had 6.5 million gold in my pack at which point I would need to touch my key board again as I don't have a sort to [exex box built in to this script because I never let it run that long as I have a life and don't like watching a screen for AFK checks... If you care to look at the macro this is what it looks like
