For leather items, add luck by enhancing with spined leather. For iron items, add luck by enhancing with gold ingots.

As long as I'm thinking about it, the biggest problem with bods is: there are too many combinations. So many that it takes forever to build up sets. I'd like to see the number of leather colors cut in half and the 15-count bod eliminated. That would help a lot.

The artifact might be a red herring. I tried to get it to fail again and I was only able to get it to happen when an OpenEUO looter was running. OpenEUO is known to corrupt the client state.
