Re: Roadmap part 1
I thought I would voice that I was concerned about how it sounds like things would be more open for exploitation. Having witnessed griefing in the past, I just thought I'd voice my concern for such a system. Given the shard's history, I can only imagine that security of the shard was already a given...

Re: [OrionUO 7/31/22 update] DON'T UPDATE/fix
I have been using the new update for a couple days now. I am cautiously optimistic that it is working properly. I at least have not crashed, which is a good sign. Thanks for the info. I seen there was an update, but like most updates I refuse to do, especially when things are working fine as they ar...

Re: Auction?...... Input?.... update?
he is being unethical. unethical with parts of the community. Well, that is a hot take if I ever heard one. From the rest of the message I am assuming that English is not your first language. If it is, my apologies. If not, please take this in the spirit it was meant, educational. Unethical means t...

[OrionUO 7/31/22 update] DON'T UPDATE/fix
Hello fellow Orion users. I had a rather rude surprise when I went to update Orion this morning. If you go through with the update, you will be unable to launch Orion. This is developer confirmed and he has been working on fixing the update. If you did update, don't worry, the developer was informed...

Re: Idea as far as Beekeeping script
I heard that the bee hives gumps were intentionally remade to prevent scripting. Even if one were to make such a script, I get the feeling it is against the spirit, of the significant revamp, to publish. Perhaps I am incorrect.

Re: Weapon Type Change Deed
The weapon specials are the two statements on the bottom that are particular to the type of weapon like "Whirlwind" or "Double Shot". The stats are things like +5 strength, spell channeling, essentially all the stuff on the top. When you type change your weapon you keep everythi...

Re: Auction... Event?... Input
This is a really hard post to reply to, because I understand where you are coming from. I also however feel bad for the burden it puts on +C. This post as far as I can tell is a call to action. Even if just to get a reply. My concern with this post and why I am replying is, what if +C has been doing...

Re: Human Bio Weapons
Thank you for your input Turnabout. Ok.There is a big point: the pet needs to fight against real monsters and not against harmless trainers, so my question is how much stamina is needed to keep "firing" abilities like acid rain or trial by fire at max rate? Hroo-sta said that his bio's com...

Human Bio Weapons
Credit to Hroo-sta for not only having the interest to pursue a dead field, but being willing to put forth time and gold to look for the best bio weapon. Here is some information about human bios that will be important later. Weapon abilities are irrelevant. Once an arrow type is selected they only ...

Re: Sgail
Hah, please do. In retrospect, I noticed I called this the Sgail guide. Even though it really is more of a Gleam Aura Legging Guide. Oops. I think the description on the YouTube video rightly calls it out. Oh, well. That in and of itself isn't worth a second post. Titling the post Sgail might help w...

Ah yes, Nick. I think it was you now that I recall. I also agree, that would be a wicked achievement/title.
Re: Sgail
Here is the material list and puzzle key from the pdf I posted above, if anyone just wants quick access to those rather than the rest of the guide. Section 1: Material List Wooden Trinket (Giver: Hyacinth The Assistant, Receiver: Walloc The Carpenter) • 1k Grade A Boards (Sturdy Axe) • 10k Ebony Boa...
