to copy files to new puter go into uos folder then profiles copy default.xml and default backup.xml i store mine on google drive and on one drive... for uo go into ultima online excelsior then desktop folder and choose all files in folder main one is multicache.dat.. save those along with uos files ...

if i understand it correctly u should have been able to go to task bar n i think right click the auto map n click maximize then left click and hold the maximized window and drag down just a bit and it would go back to normal mode ..... as far as the black area in game window sounds like the cat just...

iirc when it hangs on verifying account either u didnt type in shard.uoex.net in the serverver line or go to compatability tab n run as admin double check that you typed in shard.uoex.net port 60....oh n btw when u start uos but before u log in make sure u point uos to ur client.exe . n to ur uoex f...
