Re: Fun Speeches/Quotes
I adore Oscar Wilde. Here's two of my favorite quotes from him: "Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes." "Always forgive your enemies - nothing annoys them so much." And another quote from a a hero of mine, Richard Feynman: "For a successful technology, reality ...

Re: UPgraded to Win10, now getting memory error
I also just upgraded to Windows 10, and had the out of memory issue. Using the large address aware tool didn't help at all. In fact, it made it worse, as it turned the executable into something that the host Windows kernel couldn't execute. Looking at the website for that tool, I'm dubious about it....

Re: Pariah's PHX & Coronado Getaway
Sounds like a great vacation, I'm jealous. I love that whole area around San Diego. It's one of the many reasons I live in Cali :) Unfortunately, I've not seen an LL Taco place outside of southern California. I crave it. I have to stop in every time we go down there. I lived in Phoenix for 4 years i...

Re: A few of my favorite things...
http://i1381.photobucket.com/albums/ah231/soleilazure/ndnjt_zpszaslgijj.gif Dates are also some of my Favorite Things (tm). Here in Cali wine country, you can get all sorts of fresh produce year round, and that includes organic dates. In addition to plain dates, I love to make homemade banana-date ...

Our nostalgia can't repel a thread of this magnitude! As a child of the '70s, I hereby present: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/6/6b/Raid_on_bungeling_bay.gif I defy you to find a harder game than R.O.B.B. for the C64. Seriously. It still haunts me. https://www.c64-wiki.com/images/d/d0/Impo...

Much like recycled food, biodegradable swimming pools are good for the environment, and ok for you!

Re: farming ointments
I second Fel Trinsic as a good area. There are several Felucca dungeons that I like to farm ointments in: Despise, Deceit, Covetous, and Destard. Just don't go too deep in Destard: ancient wyrms hurt and they take too long to kill to be worth it. Shame isn't too bad either, though I sometimes get mo...

Re: Other players vendors
I think the issue of helping newbies is a separate issue from the economy. Knowledge is the best way to help a new player to any game, not money or items. As trite as it sounds, teaching someone to fish is better for everyone. Advice on where to hunt for a given gear/stat level is probably the best ...

Re: Attention fellow Biliophiles
I have two seconded recommendations: The Integral Trees by Larry Niven. In fact, a lot of the N-Space books (his fictional universe) are good, such as Ringworld . Donaldson's Thomas Covenant books. I actually think Lord Foul's Bane , the first in the series, is the best one. Here's a few of my favs:...

Re: New Facets
At this level, there really isn't much to do.... I've been incredibly time-constrained for a while, so I haven't had as much time to play anything let alone UOEX. Because of that, I haven't been feeling the pain of a lack of highend content. Plus, I'm by no means a vet. But I would offer a few poin...
