You just need to have the money in your bank. When you go to buy the item, click "yes" and that money will be removed from your bank box.

It's pretty amazing that with 418 strength you only do 13 base damage more than someone with 160ish. I couldn't imagine how awesome it would be to have 400 strength though! Holy!

Thanks for the question Jim. As mentioned in the rules of the first post:

1) Gear must be bought from NPC vendors. Nothing crafted or leveled. Leave ALL your usual gear in the bank.
2) Upon finding a better weapon/armor during the hunt, feel free to use it.
3) No pets, except normal mounts (llama ...

Yes it's still a go. It's a ways away now though, so mention it to your friends in game. Advertise it! Maybe we'll have a huge turn out and can try a high level dungeon.

Glad there's at least some interest. I changed the rules to indicate NPC vendors - this is what I had originally meant, but the more explicit the rules, the better. Thanks for your input, and I look forward to seeing you there!

As a follow up, it does not appear that having locked camping at 10 leads to any dex gains. I did it for 15-20 minutes, and didn't gain any dex.

This is very helpful. Thanks to you both! I'll give the camping thing a try - think it would work with the camping skill locked at 10?
