It literally wants the first bit of memory that is available to programs to start up in.

What it is looking for is the first 2mb of Virtual Ram not your physical ram in the machine.

Is the Ultima Online Directory the correct one where it is loaded on your PC? If you used the prepatched client then you have the wrong directory.

Also you may want to verify the address and port are correct if you are using a helper program like uosteam or razor. That can hang things up also. One last thing make sure to run UO as administrator. There is a help file I did in the help section on that. Good luck!

Is the shard and port correct when your logging in?

This may sound weird but make sure that all of the programs that you use for UO are run in Compatibility mode and run as administrator. Well my daughter just upgraded her machine to Win 10 and was getting the Virtual memory error and when I ran the Large Address Aware on all of the programs for UO (the client, Razor and Steam) it worked fine. So I don't know what to tell you.

Look in the help section of the forums, there is a post that I did on virtual memory errors and someone post in there a program called Large Address Aware. Run that on all of the programs you use for UO and it should fix the error.
