I think it's going to depend on what your attacking too.
I ran tests and calculations a while back using chickens as test subjects and this was my results:
355 STR = 328 avg-dmg/hit
300 STR = 311
280 STR = 306
These were based on trials of 10 chickens per imp. Now obviously the resists are ...

Re: Connection Problems
If you're using vista, did you make sure you set the UO.exe to run as administrator? You may need to do the same with razor.

Re: No opinions?
As someone who takes breaks from gaming when I get too invested, I'm looking at this from an outside perspective.
This whole thing has gotten totally out of hand. I understand being frustrated about changes being made and I understand being frustrated when it seems that staff aren't responding to ...

Re: Prob with dl'ing uoex
Hah, I was so thrown off by "trig" and "triga" being used in place of "Tera" that I went off to google and see if I'd somehow become ignorant of the increments.

Hmm...I'm unfamiliar with the designation of "1 trig" in terms of memory.

That may have been the intended structure, but it currently does reset if you drop a full one.+Colibri wrote: 1. Bringing a filled taming bod will not reset your timer (unlike smithy and tailoring)

Re: log in help
If you're using either Vista or Windows 7, make sure you're running the program as administrator. To do this, right click the .exe and select "Run as Administrator".

Re: 2nd account on same IP?
Make sure you've set UO to run as administrator. Vista and 7 are finicky that way.

Re: exex
Personally, I think the latest integration of exex into the shard is a fabulous addition. It provides much more stability over "hot topic" prices, assuming players become acquainted with it and begin to use it fully.

Ignoring a player on global chat is relatively simple. Type as though you wanted to pm the player ([pm billybob) and one of the options in the pm is to ignore the player.
Alternatively, you can type just [c and get the player list and ignore them by selecting that player and hitting the appropriate ...

Re: Unattended Weapon leveling
Cash, if you aren't implementing an auto-targeting macro, then I wasn't aiming my point at you ;). It's relatively easy to string up a razor macro that auto-targets repeatedly and it's very much helpful but for those who don't pay enough attention to it, this leads to kill stealing.

Okay, these whole ravings on "This is how it should be" or "The price of EDs is outrageous!" is getting OLD.
I'm tired of logging into UOEX, only to have this debate going.
I'm tired of reading the forums only to see this debate is the highlight.

Re: Bottles & Hive Tools on Trinsic Stones/Tool House
I'd love hive tools in the tool house...since I go through 10-16 of them per round of gathering. That said, I'll continue living without them just fine because I can sort the tools into a bag with razor and just toss the bag into a box.

Re: Unattended Weapon leveling
I wasn't "complaining about the competition" ;). I respect that many people use those leveling areas. I just want people to respect ME when I'm already fighting a monster! Just because people already have a route and I find myself in it and they pop in, that doesn't give them the right to let their ...
